I feel like the MLB draft just isn't as exciting as other sports because you don't get that instant gratification. You draft a guy who's in the minors for at least a couple seasons. Unless they are really special and you see them like a year and a half later.

Yeah, years past it was always Sunday-Thursday on the MLB calendar but you don't really count Sunday. I did notice the draft is at 4 so that's at least better than being in the morning. Edit: not much a full day considering the draft is at 2PM SD time.
