Considering our place in the standings being 8 and a half games up over the Indians, I’m glad we didn’t make a panic move a month or two ago when we have needed to overpay. Escobar is going to have to be dealt at some point this week really. D-backs really have no choice. Just make the moves this week to gear up for the post-season and move on.

Turner is controlled through next year. I have a feeling we don’t want to pay what it would cost. Just get Escobar and let him leave in free agency after the season.

Wow just saw that Vaughn has a 1.010 OPS the past 28 days. Wow.

I do normally agree but Vaughn has been hot and has hit lefties great.

I guess if your bench guy hits better from the same side, it’s probably the best time to sit him rather than against a righty.

It would make no sense hitting him 7th really. Guy is ready.
