Send him down then. No point of having a recent top prospect on the bench in the limited part of a platoon role. Would rather he got sent down than only play against lefties.
Against righties, he has a .253 average, .312 OBP, .686 OPS.
Against lefties, he has a .375 average, .426 OBP, 1.106 OPS.
Play him against lefties only.
Lineup I would like to see/expect (probably see a lot of lefties tonight):
1. Anderson SS
2. Grandal C (see as many pitches early as possible)
3. Moncada 3B
4. Abreu 1B
5. Lamb DH
6. Eaton RF (not that I really WANT him in the lineup but more expect)
7. Engel CF (defensive purposes/breakup the lefties)
8. Goodwin LF
9. Mendick 2B (will probably be Leury though)
Is it too soon or should we leave today's thread up for a little bit for those to discuss the win? I'd definitely rather talk about a big matchup against the Rays myself.
Man I haven't been able to watch much the past 3 or 4 games but I would love to continue starting the game thread. My cousin has free tickets from his company for tomorrow so I will be getting to my first game of the season!
I feel the same...I just figure "what's 30-50 mins of my time a week watching a new episode of these shows or watching the few movies that come out a year."
