  1. Right. Like I said on another page, write the lineup (the team is really talented and its hard to fuck up), let Katz handle the pitchers, and sit at the end of the bench. Maybe go out and argue for your players if there are constant bad calls.
  2. Question: if that guy is throwing 50 MPH up there, does it look worse or just as bad if Yermin doesn't swing at any pitch and just takes the easy walk on 4 lobbed pitches? That pitch certainly would have been ball 4.
  3. Agreed. Yermin can take one in the back and go to first. No punishment needed from his own team.
  4. Tony LaRussa certainly knows about not making the same mistake twice and respecting others, huh?
  5. I updated my original post that I responded to you.
  6. Same. This is a prime example of what many were saying in the off-season about having a guy like Tony in the clubhouse. The whole "generational disconnect" where today's game is breaking the unwritten rules and then the front office hires Tony. Let the players be themselves. Fuck it.
  7. My thoughts exactly.
  8. Right? Why are their signs up 12 in the 9th with a position player pitching lol
  9. Tony, just write the lineup, let Katz handle the pitching, and take your seat at the end of the bench. Hell, grab a beer while you're at it.
  10. I said the same about Grandal. If he's not going to do much else with the bat other than take pitches and walk, hit him second and let him take a bunch of pitches so the rest of the team can see a lot of pitches early. Also, maybe he gets better pitches to hit.
  11. How long has Rongey been back on the Score? Heard him filling in for Bernstein yesterday and today.
  12. That's true, but if whoever is catching gets hurt, you just swap whoever is at first to C and you still keep the DH. Could get away with it once in a while but you're right, not frequently.
  13. Figured Lamb would be out there in LF. Would also have been fine with Vaughn in LF, Grandal at 1B (then he can C the day game tomorrow) and Collins behind the plate. I'd probably line them up: 1. Anderson 2. Eaton 3. Moncada 4. Mercedes 5. Vaughn 6. Grandal 7. Lamb 8. Garcia 9. Madrigal
  14. No way. Take the free (I don't think he is going to get thrown at) base and move on.
  15. Mlb.com has Shoemaker for tomorrow (not a lefty).
  16. No I don't think so. When Lamb is dfa'd it will be because Engel is coming off the IL.
  17. I don't think so.
  18. My guess is because of an Eaton IL-stint (or I guess Vaughn, Mercedes, or Abreu) where a corner spot/DH opened up.

I bought Three Floyd's Lazer Snake yesterday. Not bad.
  20. Eloy Robert Vaughn outfield needs to be a thing later in the year.
  21. Ozzie is must watch on pre and post game show lol
  22. Good shit boys. Come back and do it again tomorrow.
  23. Lamb in LF tomorrow confirmed.
  24. Our Yermin is better than Twins Yermin!
