Yeah against a righty: Lamb or Leury in LF and then Hamilton or Leury in CF lol

Luis Robert grade 3 strain/torn Hip Flexor, est. out 12-16 weeks
Did they say it was going to be a press conference? I missed that. Just that there will be news from Hahn at 5.

What if they still manage to contend up until the deadline? Why would you trade them?

FWIW, on the Score a little bit ago, they said with a day off today they probably won't make an official announcement until tomorrow.

The TLR Manager Thread
Definitely.

+1. It would be much appreciated.

Addressing the OF shortage (Robert Injury Spinoff)
I can't take any post seriously that spells his name that way. I just can't.

The TLR Manager Thread
It really is a shame that nobody saw this coming. ( )

Yeah but I'm just referring to the post that it seems like he does not having the exact details to Tweet, which is obvious for what he Tweeted.

Well I think it's obviously he doesn't have the news yet.

I thought that meeting with the media was at 1 (I usually go on my walks during the day at that time and that it when I listened to it).

I was a big fan of picking up Tauchman after the Eloy injury. Sadly, he's already been traded for nothing. Sigh.

It's in spite of LaRussa not because.

Hahn or the 85-year old owner?
-
The Andrew Vaughn LF Thread
Vaughn is doing just fine out there and should be playing every day.

Addressing the OF shortage (Robert Injury Spinoff)
David Peralta is still a guy I like as a trade target. Left-handed, signed for $7.5m next year, Arizona (while over .500 now) probably won't be contending 2 months from now. Not sure what it would cost though.

MILB Kickoff Thread?
It hit me the other day how much I missed following players in the minors (granted, it was pre-2020 when we were still bad and rebuilding but still).

Addressing the OF shortage (Robert Injury Spinoff)
Let's see how long Robert is out for before declaring they trade Eloy.

I probably wait until the off-season to figure it out. Maybe you get a good offer for Yermin in the off-season from a team that thinks he can catch a little (Marlins were interested last off-season) and DH (maybe universal DH will be a part of the next CBA opening up 15 more jobs).

Addressing the OF shortage (Robert Injury Spinoff)
Lineup is going to look even more brutal with no DH the next 2 days.

Addressing the OF shortage (Robert Injury Spinoff)
That doesn't mean I am trading Eloy for that.

The Yermin-Vaughn-Abreu Conundrum
I still feel like they need to give Jose a couple games off in a row. He's been brutal. Would 2 games when you don't have a DH make that easier and just go with Yermin (or Vaughn) at 1B in Cincy?

MILB Kickoff Thread?
Excited to follow Cespedes and Burger. Maybe Burger turns himself into a trade chip as there doesn't seem to be a spot on the roster in the near or long-term future.

Addressing the OF shortage (Robert Injury Spinoff)
I will take him over all the current options.
