  1. In some threads, I noticed arguments getting a little too close to persobal attacks, straying away from the baseball discussion. That's more what I'm referring to.
  2. Exactly why I said we need a move badly lol
  3. This board is in dire need of a move.
  4. Definitely should start the year in the minors.
  5. I see that he's a free agent too. Wouldn't mind him back as a backup.
  6. Hawk: "TWTW"
  7. More balance in the lineup since you add some lefties as well.
  8. Agreed.
  9. I'm definitely a fan of the signing 2 OF approach: one that would platoon in one spot with Engel and one that would primarily DH but could spell Eloy in LF.
  10. Yeah it's honestly pathetic that this isn't resolved yet.
  11. I've been going back and forth on Dahl all morning. The lineup should be so good where they could gamble on him in the 8-spot. But yeah, I think I prefer someone who can stay on the field.
  12. If we don't get Springer (probably more "when we don't), my personal preference is: 1. Joc 2. JBJ 3. Dahl (didn't realize he was only 27. Still, if he misses a lot of the season, that doesn't do us much good) 4. Rosario
  13. The time for a guy like Dahl was when we were rebuild mode. Don't like the idea of seeing if he can finally stay healthy next year.
  14. I wouldn't hate it. I would just prefer to plug as many holes as possible through free agency first.
  15. They are comparing his offensive numbers to Dunn. Which is a spot on comparison. Anyone who has suggested Gallo has said he is Dunn but with good defense.
  16. If they acquire someone in a trade to plug RF, I doubt it would be anyone that would cost big time prospects. If they miss out on Springer, I'm personally ok with them going with Pederson, Bradley, the Korean OF, gambling on Dahl for RF and trading for a SP.
  17. A lot of good talent out there for rebuilding teams to gamble on in hopes of flipping for sure.
  18. Wisler being non-tendered is also surprising. Pitched great last year.
  19. I think he just means some of her past tweets.
  20. David Dahl and Archie Bradley are some notable names non-tendered.
  21. If that is true, then offer another year, a little more money, 5th year option with like a $5mill buyout to increase guaranteed money, etc.
  22. Do you know what the Sox current offer is?
  23. This x100000 was trying to make this point the other day to someone but they didn't understand.
  24. 100%. Or another cheap team like the Indians bringing him home.
  25. I think the only guy I would consider holding him down for is Brantley on a one year deal. Guy just hits. But I'm sure he could get 2.
