  1. I keep going back and forth on this. Sign someone to a one year deal and if they are bad, you can cut them in favor of Vaughn. If they are doing good, then you keep Vaughn in the minors. Too many good players at the MLB level is never a problem.
  2. Yes. I would add: - Back-end/reclamation starter (Q, Kluber, Paxton, Walker, etc) - A closer (Hendriks, Colome, Hand, etc) - Another reliever (Bradley, McGee) - Left-handed bat (LaStella, Miller, etc) - Backup catcher (one that is more defensive oriented)
  3. I'm a fan of that idea. Even if they sign Hendriks, I feel like there are a good amount of options out there to grab another good guy later to add to the pen as well.
  4. Reliever market is deep this offseason.
  5. Renfroe signed with the Red Sox.
  6. Can someone share this link later if they come across it?
  7. Basically where I'm at. Would rather spend on premiere position players but they don't/won't so spend it somewhere else.
  8. Cleveland Spiders (old name), Cleveland Tribe (not offensive, can stick with the C logo), Cleveland Major League Team (Major League reference) have my votes.
  9. I would prefer them to go back to this instead of The Rockers.
  10. We all would have prefered Springer. That was never going to happen. We basically either going to sign someone on the cheaper side to platoon with Engel. We all would love to have star potential everywhere in the lineup 1-9 but it's unrealistic.
  11. Oh yeah. Tried to block out his time here. Thanks.
  12. Have you heard that they are talking to Brad Miller or are they trying to bring in a left-handed hitting infielder in general? I can't see LaStella taking a bench job.
  13. Who was 31 last year? Can't remember.
  14. Yeah I watched that good bye he did. Said his contract was up at the end of the year and they were not going to pick it back up. Really a shame.
  15. Ooooh that makes sense.
  16. Maybe they are going off of Passan's first tweet lol
  17. I would have liked this.
  18. I wish I would have bought more shares of Disney when it was at $80 back in March. God dammit.
  19. I was more referring to just moving on and accepting you won't get through to someone lol I know you're right. A lot of people do too. But at some point it's not worth the time. You're spending a day+ on this coming off likes it's exhausting.
  20. I mean, you could just move on and accept to agree to disagree instead of wasting another whole day arguing.
  21. Giolito for sure. Lynn extended for a year or two. Vaughn if you can sign him to a dirt cheap extension that buys out a year of free agency, so an 8 year deal (this would probably happen later before/during spring training if they don't add a bat on a one year deal).
  22. Yeah Disney plus is not great...yet.
  23. Exactly. This week is no different than next. They can still meet virtually. Just as the week before the meetings.
