  1. Yeah and it doesn't seem like he has much of a market. And that's not far off from what they offered Wheeler.
  2. I was thinking around 5-6 years/$150-180m. No idea how close or far that is.
  3. Really wish the non-tender deadline would be pushed up a few weeks. Also, knowing if the NL will have a DH would help.
  4. Off the top of my head I can't remember, but was the Sox offer to Wheeler ever leaked? How many years and dollars would have to be added to that to get Bauer?
  5. I was more referring to them trying to get a big free agent on their terms that they are comfortable with than the actual player himself.
  6. True. Better to be safe than sorry.
  7. That all said, I don't see how the Sox are not all over Bauer. This would be the off-season to try to get a guy on their terms (example: staring contest with Machado a couple years ago).
  8. Yeah I don't think they actually will. Was just piggybacking off someone else saying they have seem the Mets linked to Bauer.
  9. Lame. GMs can already meet virtually. I was hoping there would be in-person meetings still (with safety of course). Thanks for the info.
  10. Have these officially been cancelled this year? I haven't read anything about them being cancelled, or delayed even. I think they were supposed to be next week.
  11. I've been wondering the same. Haven't seen much on him except for really the Angels and Padres, teams you think wouldn't be due to committed salaries already. If the Mets are actually interested, with the money opened up this season from Robinson Cano's suspension, they should be able to sign him if they really want him you would think.
  12. Definitely for certain posters. I have a couple in mind.
  13. Yeah and while Yelich was bad last year, if I were a GM/owner, I'd be willing to give guys a pass in this weird pandemic shortened season.
  14. Sounds like he would be replacing Stone. Maybe Stone will take more road trips off and the 20-25 games off will come from all road games.
  15. I thought the same.
  16. Gee, if only there was a way to only let him hit eventually.
  17. The Podcasts I listen to is more comedy and/or interview oriented (How Did this Get Made, Justin Long's Podcast, Joe Rogan, Bill Burr, etc) so it's usually ok to listen to while working.
  18. I've definitely rewatched a lot of shows over the past 9 months. It's hard for me to watch new stuff as I'm usually too focused on work.
  19. He's fine if your team is in rebuild mode, preferably the first year or 2 when you're hoarding prospects and not many are up in the MLB yet.
  20. I'm big on podcasts when I go to the office. My background noise working from home is TV and movies. I miss the day time baseball games The day there were like 8 playoff games in one day was amazing.
  21. Lol I'm not being serious. Was a strange game to watch for sure.
  22. Wasn't into it until I got an office job. I need background noise (especially now more than ever) and music doesn't do it for me the same while I work (which is weird, because commuting, I prefer music).
