Well, the rules have changed since we signed Robert, we were in the penalty box the first 2 years and we traded off our slot money those years because we couldn't spend over $250k (I think the amount is right, can't remember) on one player so it always made sense.

If the offers aren't there (or there are no offers) then not really.
The only ones I would really take "best offer" for would be the guys who are free agents in a couple of months. But again, a team would have to be interested.
I was on the: extend him (or trade and re-sign him) for a year and like $10 mill at the absolute most. But lately, I think I've decided I'd rather move on.
