You can't carry 14. 13 max. But I agree with the premise. I think a 7 man bp would even be fine. I actually miss the days of 6 man BPs.

If you sign Castellanos and fail to move Mazara, then your bench would be McCann, Mazara (corner OF/can start when injuries injuries to Eloy, EE, Abreu, Castellanos), Leury as primary backup IF or main purpose as the utility guy, and Engel or infielder (dependant on what you want out of Leury).

You can bet Riley will take over at 3B.

And? Guys could excel up after draft and draft order isn't really black and white. Theres other variables for when a guy goes like a scouting department. Teams could hate a guy and others can love a guy.

And if you think about it, if they resign Yolmer, 4 guys who received a significant amount of playing time (McCann, Engel, Yolmer, Sanchez) can potentially make up their bench.
