He can go on a rehab assignment while he is suspended for the final 2 weeks of the suspension (like Cano). Looks like minor league season ends Labor Day.

Sidenote: when is Welington able to come back from his suspension?

Offensively: he can be a starter. Defensively: he needs improvement. You want a good defensive catcher behind the plate. I think he's a fine backup and it's good to see that his ability to walk at a decent rate and strike out a low amount have carried over from the minors. Ceiling if he doesn't improve defensively: backup catcher.

They definitely should play Davidson at 3B and Sanchez at 2B for a couple days.

He probably already has. Those aren't always reported.

This is what I'm thinking of in a prospect for prospect for prospect type swap. We know teams called the Sox about Cordell as it has been reported. But the deals I am thinking are more of a guy maybe in a team's 10-20 range in his mid-20's getting to the point of no longer being called a prospect. No top prospects.

Prospect.for.prospect.trades.don't.happen. I'm not sure how often this has be to said here (minus the change of scenery ones when guys are already about 24/25).

AOTC has some great scenes. The arena battle with all the jedi and the Yoda fight are probably close to the top of the list of best Star Wars scenes.

They won't hide him. He needs the at bats. I would probably sit him for about 2-3 games though.

Do these guys need to be added to the 40-man this off-season? That's also a difference between these guys and Giolito, Moncada, and Lopez. Those guys were already on the 40 since they were called up the previous season. Not putting those guys on the 40-man roster this year provides some flexibility in the off-season by allowing you to carry two extra guys. Edit: if they're not up by this weekend, wait until next year.
