I don’t hate any reason that keeps guys off the MLB roster prior to the lockout at the end of next year with so much uncertainty, unless you can get some guys on team friendly, 7-8 year deals before said uncertainty.

I think he means if you’re a team giving up a T100 for an Aaron Civale (if he pitches good enough), you probably have a deep farm.

With only a month and a half left until the trade deadline, do you just hit him third behind Tauchman and Meidroth at this point and try to give him the most at bats behind guys that get on base a lot? Edit: or 4th behind Vargas

Yeah, he can do that and be traded. Both are true.

All I know is Quero and Teel both need to be in the lineup every day, at C and DH. When you have a 4-man bench, I don't think its completely necessary to carry a third catcher. I'll risk a guy getting hurt and losing the DH spot. You have 4 guys on the bench that can pinch hit throughout the game.

You can just play Baldwin at 2B with Sosa/Vargas at 1B/3B. Rojas can hit the bench.
