I agree though, these FA signed to 1 or 2 year deals aren't blocking anybody and if picked off correctly should be able to be flipped when necessary. I agree with this. No one is trading for a 37 year old Howard unless he is mashing the ball. I'd rather give the at bats to someone already here or another sign-and-flip candidate.
