  1. You’re 100% wrong on what you “believe” my opinion is, but thanks for playing.
  2. How so? Please enlighten me.
  3. But where did I ever say managers couldn't be? You assumed that...I never said that. I'm not judging Abreu based on things I don't see or read with my own eyes. I don't do the same for LaRussa either. So what's your point?
  4. I didn't mention anything Abreu does off the field, others did. I was talking about things that happen on the field of play that I don't believe can be accurately measured and given a proper rating across the entire league.
  5. How much are you factoring his HR and two walks...today?
  6. And Abreu really is a guy that is so much more than the stats on the page. I can’t imagine many would disagree with that, but there are simply too many things Abreu does on a daily basis that can’t be measured by WAR or anything else.
  7. I think this is the source for a lot of us that are “critical” of LaRussa. It’s easy to say “It worked out so all is well.” But... 1. The move itself still didn’t “work out” It didn’t help them win the game the way they won it, and still gave away an out. 2. We’re happy and fortunate the Sox pulled it out in the 9th. But those are the type of decisions that should give some pause moving forward. The Royals did everything they could to give the Sox the game today in the 8th and 9th. I don’t know if they’ll have luxury against the Yankees, Red Sox, Halos, etc.
  8. Lol, what a stupid game hahaha
  9. With Grandal up next...I don’t blame the send.
  10. Bottom of the 9th, down 3-2, Anderson on 2B, Eaton up with Moncada and Abreu behind him. Eaton had a HR earlier in the game. TLR had Eaton bunt Anderson to third....why?
  11. That’s a terrible call, I don’t care what happens.
  12. I love Jason sometimes “Oh Eaton shows bunt...he hit a homer earlier and been on base three times.........”
  13. 0 excuse for the Sox not to win this game.
  14. Dylan wasn’t happy with that pull..kind of feel like in that situation with let him have one more batter
  15. Don’t know. I was told LaRussa “Has these guys ready to play!”
  16. If Cease has finally figured it out.....would be an absolutely enormous help to the long-term future of this club.
  17. I mean, maybe spend less time posting in every thread on this board and actually do 8 seconds of research. Major League Operations Developer: Brett Phillips Analysts: Wataru Ando, Emily Blady, Jonathan Lewyckyi Coordinator of Baseball Information: Devin Pickett Baseball Video Coordinator: Bryan Johnson Technical Video Coordinator: Ross Mika
  18. He’s not right. Was just looking at my texts, on May 2nd I was saying he wasn’t right, and he still doesn’t look like the guy we know.
  19. Hey Lucas, anytime you want to remove your head from your ass, we’d love it
  20. Hey needledick, don’t run with your head down. We teach 3 years olds that.
  21. Two posts made with 30 minutes of each other. One is fairly critical of TLR, one is fairly complementary of TLR. In my opinion....both are well stated and true!
  22. Then I suggest you put on your big boy pants, and don’t let it bother you so much. If you don’t like...you don’t have to comment or read it. I literally posted it in the topic “The TLR Manager Thread” But thanks for the advice.
