This is fun.

Freeman has only hit more than 35 HR once, and it was last season. He knocked out 34 in 2016, so it's not like you're that far off lol. I'd be more than happy if Vaughn was able to produce Freddie Freeman numbers in the majors.

He played in Panama with their amateur program, so he's a well rounded player but wasn't really known prior to this year. He's a physical freak though, 6'5"/225 with power potential and he runs well for his size. I wrote a piece about him for FutureSox if you'd like some more info.

Yeah exactly. I'd guess that's his contract floor at worst, barring injury or what have you.

Tin foil hat theory: Mookie countered with those figures because he's dead set on testing FA. He threw out some Trout figures that if Boston agreed to pay him that, he'd be fine with staying. Asking for Trout money is ambitious, but I'd wager he doesn't quite crack that.

These are the projections from MLB Trade Rumors from back in Oct. White Sox Alex Colome (5.118) – $10.3MM Leury Garcia (5.025) – $4.0MM Carlos Rodon (4.168) – $4.5MM Evan Marshall (3.090) – $1.3MM So Colome got a tad more, Marshall a tad less.

Yeah, I could see how that would get very annoying if I were Passan famous.
