He's right. They're tearing down the projects around USCF and building $300,000 lofts. Houses will be even more. In 10 years, the USCF neighborhood will be Wrigleyville south. Why do you think JR has parking around USCF as far as the eye can see? He's waiting for the price on that land to skyrocket. Right now, the price is already going up.

Fireworks Night fellas. They'll be lucky to have 20,000 tomorrow. Only 5,000 walk-ups for a game where there wasn't a cloud in the sky and the game time temp was 82 degrees. Most Sox fans are far from convinced that this is a team we should spend our hard earned money on.

Some people believe the sooner JM is out the better for the team. Im not saying id go to the exteme of wishing us to lose, but i see their view. That would be me. I don't wanna see the White Sox lose either. But I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. If this team does come back and miraculously win the AL Central, no doubt JR will let JM ride out the last year of his contract. That, IMHO, is not in the White Sox best interest. Come to think of it, letting JM manage THIS SEASON was not in the White Sox best interest .

Wow. You really believe that? Wow. If, by some act of God this '03 Sox team makes the playoffs, the 3 and out we suffer will be humiliating to say the least. Right now, this division is KC's to lose. IMHO..... it is permissable to make a racist comment about a person that is a full blown racist. Baker's comments on blacks handling heat better than whites isn't the first time he's made comments that, if a white coach had uttered the same thoughts, would have gotten him fired. Not to mention, that asswipe Jesse Jackson would have gotten involved. I guess Jesse Jackson must have been out of the country saving American POW's when Baker made his "heat" comments. BTW..... I don't consider what Dusty Baker said to be racist. Just stereotyped and prejudicial. However, the word "racist" would be batted around if a white coach made similar comments.
