Konerko may be dealt but it will not be to the NYY with Giambi at 1B . If he is dealt to the NYY, it will be short lived as the deal will, more than likely, have PK going to the NYY then traded to another team for someone else the NYY covet. The NYY have absolutely no use for PK. None.

AM 1000 was reporting that as early as the AM of 07/02. Depending who you listen to, Texas has a list of either 5 or 8 to choose from and of those, they get 3. According to the same AM 1000 report, Honel and Rauch are not on any of those lists. No word on Borchard or Cotts, et al.

Any less, and you'll see a firesale. If the White Sox didn't get hot, I personally think you would have seen a firesale alot sooner than after the season ends. But, I always held that if this team got hot, moves to bolster the team would be made.

Something new for KW I know . So, in acquiring R Alomar and Everett, the deals have cost JR $0.00 ..... just Almonte, Ring, the other guy (?????) and whoever Texas chooses from the list of 5 or 8. As far as their attitudes..... as with all deals..... wait and see. I may not like the majority of deals KW pulls off but I always give him the chance to provide positive results. If Jimenez was half-the-ass reported by some here, you lost a big distraction right there. Let's hope Everett doesn't take over where Jimenez left off. Unfortunately, I live far away on the "Wet" Coast. But I just told my spouse that we should think about going down in Oct to Chi town to watch the Sox in the playoffs Unfortunately, for the vast majority of posters here, you don't have to post for us to go to the games. We already do. What the casual fans do is really of no concern to us although EVERYONE here would like to see a sell-out at The Cell at least 81 games a year.
