While you will always have a subset of the American population that is 100% against war, no matter what the circumstances are, the fact that anti-War protestors have more anti-Bush signs and anti-Bush chants should serve as notice that, to the majority of "anti-War" protestors at least, this War is more anti-Bush than it is anti-War.

So their number 3 pitcher has drawn comparisons to Jesus Christ but that is because he arrived in Chicago only to walk across the waves of Lake Michigan. Kerry Wood is more likely to have his arm fall off or walk more batters then he K's each game he goes out. Matt Clement is as hot/cold as Jon Garland. One game he looks like Cy Young. The next outing he looks like Todd Ritchie. All the analysts expect a HUGE year from Zambrano even though he has yet to pitch a full ML season. And who is their number 5? Cruz? Gimme a break. Look at their bullpen. Alfonsixa is out. Who's gonna close? Sleepy Farnsworth who has proven he can't do the job? Rod "81 MPH fastball" Beck? Cub fans better hope their winning a few games come the 6th inning if Remlinger is going to be any use to them. Then there's the line-up. Moisty Alube is going to have to bat BEFORE ShamME in the line-up if they hope to have anyone on base for God's Gift to Chicago Baseball. Who's gonna protect ShamME? Patterson? Chop Suey? AGon? Hill? Karros? IMHO, the Cubs will be lucky to finish in front of the goddamn Brewers let alone be the 2003 version of the Angels. Do the analysts really think Dusty Baker is going to have that much of an impact on this team? Dusty Baker is destined to fail just like Kimm, Baylor, and Riggleman did. Dusty won't be the same Baker after his Cub stint. On paper, this team is pathetic. How does this translate to postseason glory?????

Unless you have a pic of bin Ladin and Saddam shaking hands or peters the ones that fail to see a connection would, probably still, deny the fact that Saddam supports terrorism and the likes of bin Ladin. While the two may not agree ideologically, the two definitely see Afghanistan and Iraq as more of a War on Islam than a War on Terror.

Me too. I'm watching CNN and Fox News Channel every chance I get to get the latest. Baseball should take a backseat to the War..... after all, it isn't the baseball players that are the true heros of this world, it is those that protect our lives and freedoms everyday..... no matter where they serve or what branch or department they serve in.

As far as political decisions go and judicial decisions? Of course there is desecting and dissension. However, I believe in everything the US Constitution stands for. For example, even though I do not agree with them, I will support anti-war protestors and their right to free speech and their right to assemble..... even when the protestors hold signs which say "We Support Our Troops..... When They Shoot Their Commanding Officers." What I will not support is when the protest turns violent towards police or when the protests become civil disobedience. That is breaking the law. I also happen to agree with the right of the people to keep and bear arms. Why shouldn't every law abiding US Citizen have the right to own a handgun? Or a shotgun? I believe that every US citizen has the right to practice any religion they choose..... whether it be Catholicism, Protestantism, Hinduism, Islam, Buddhism, Hebrew, Voodoo, etc. The Constitution makes no distinctions. I believe in the right to a free press..... even though, quite occasionally, the press pushes the bounds of good taste. How about the Electoral College? As Moore stated, "President Bush is a fictitious President....." however, according to the Constitution, George Bush is the President. My point in short..... Michael Moore is a hypocrite. He uses the parts of the Constitution which he agrees with (free speech, right to assemble) and tosses aside the parts of the Constitution which he disagrees with (right to keep and bear arms, the Electoral College). Don't bring up the Constitution and it's parts unless you agree with the sum of it's parts..... and defend all parts as they are. As for the Pope and the Dixie Chicks..... I'll care more about what the Pope has to say when women get to play a bigger role in the Catholic Church considering the Pope has so much to say to women in regards to womens issues. Vin Diesel is the perfect example of why it's not just women that men find attractive that get major roles in Hollywood movies. Vin Diesel makes some B-movie actors/actresses look like Oscar winners. I expect his next movie to be no less brutal than "The Fast and the Furious" or "XXX"
