A bad one too..... not as bad as Mike South though. As for the weather, I'm predicting a high of 54 degrees, with light winds out of the S, and mostly sunny (and if I'm right, you all owe me a beer )

Alot of porn starlets work at The Moonlight Bunny Ranch in Carson City, Nevada from time-to-time. I know this because of the Howard Stern Show on E!..... lest you think I travel to CC when the White Sox are on the road during the summers . For $2,000, you can do pretty much whatever you want to your favorite porn starlet there. So, considering getting laid by a porn starlet isn't so hard to do afterall (as long as you have the $$$$$), I'm gonna go with the, so far, unattainable..... a White Sox WS Championship!

Birth to 2002-Chicago 2002 to Present-Tinley Park (summer home of Maggs Ordonez )

And on Marte when he inherits baserunners. Last season it was lights out if no one was on base when Damaso was brought in. Maybe it was just me, but it seemed that if Damaso was brought in with baserunners, especially with RISP, he was atrocious. I'm not a stat-head..... I admit that..... and I am not even sure that they keep stats on the above. But I think a look at the aforementioned, if kept, would be an eye-opener to most Sox fans..... or maybe just me if I'm wrong on this.

then you got to take me to the Michigan at Notre Dame game in 2004 so we can see the Irish lose - I notice that you very carefully said that you'd buy the tickets, not be a fan - that is smart thinking! I've always been a Michigan fan although I'm not that into College Football. Was real tough listening to RPS and Guido this year after ND got lucky and squeaked by the Wolverines. But..... as they say..... revenge is a dish best served cold. They got it just as good from me during Bowl Day on January 1st when Michigan won their Bowl handily and ND played like they never seen a football before in their Bowl game..... just as I had predicted. BTW..... what do you think the preppy ND fans would say if a guy dressed as a leprechaun was cheering for Big Blue?

The "good Frank" is usually the Frank that thinks he has something to prove to all the naysayers throughout MLB..... just like in 2000. After the dedication Frank has shown to coming back in 2003 with a vengeance this offseason, I think most Sox fans will be ready to welcome Big Frank back with open arms and a deafening standing ovation before his first AB during the home opener. Remember, just last season, Sox fans were doing the same for Big Frank when we thought he may not be wearing the White Sox uni in 2003. Time for Sox fans to let the Hurt know we appreciate everything he's done for us and that we're happy he's on our team. And I admit, that I was one of Big Frank's critics during some parts of 2002's season..... although I thought the criticism was deserved at the time. But..... I'd rather have Big Hurt on my team than face him when the game is on the line.

You would think, wouldn't you Vince..... at least we'd hope. The only thing about Garland though is his inconsistency. He has to reverse the trend and be consistent from the get-go this season. If he finds a consistent groove, 15, 16, hell..... 20 isn't out of the question. But if it's the same old JG that we've become accustomed to the last 2 seasons, it'll be one one-hit SO followed by one 1 1/3rd's of 8-hit, 6 ER baseball. JG can't have that this year if we hope to make the playoffs and win the AL Central.

Aren't they from Chicago? I saw them at ozzfest 2nd stage this year, I really wasn't paying much attention, cause I was concentrating on how hot it was, but it wasn't anything spectacular Yes..... they are 3 brothers from the Windy City.

Maggs all the way

s***..... I'll buy Notre Dame football season tickets, dress like a leprechaun, and give up beer FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE if the White Sox go 173-0 (Notice, though, I said beer ..... not alcohol..... would be time for me to move onto the really hard stuff).

For the first couple of weeks of the new season, I'd agree with you. But after off days, rain outs, injuries to either team's starting rotation, and spot starts, this doesn't necessarily hold true. My prediction..... Buehrle 22, Colon 22
-
You said a mouth full. Agreed 100%. Let's start someone from our minor league system instead of just trading them away. Rauch should be the number 5 but the opportunity for JM to tinker with the 5 spot may prove to be too tempting for him. I think Loaiza will start in the 5 spot for at least the first month or so simply because it seems like the logical JM move.
-
Garland is THE one. Colon and Buehrle, injuries and breakdowns not withstanding, should be able to each win around 20. Imagine if our number 3 has his breakout year this year and could win 15-16 along with Colon and Buehrle's 20. That happens, the AL Central will be ours.

Just heard today about the "Summer Sanitarium" Tour which is going to consist of Metallica, Limp Bizkit, Mudvayne, and the DefTones..... among others. Something tells me there will be a few pissed off honkeys in the hizouse!!!!! No dates or cities have been announced, but Chicago will be on the bill according to Q-101..... a suck ass radio station in Chicago.

When in doubt, blame RPS.

Then why are you still alive? There little Apu. I fixed it. Now, are you gonna examine my thread history for the other 2 or 3 possible typos out of 1100-some posts? Didn't think so. Enjoy this one while it lasts :fyou
-
A career DH will not be getting any blockbuster offers..... unless he hits close to .400 every year. As good as Frank is, the "career DH" stigma is gonna follow him around till he retires. It will then resurface when it comes time to vote on Big Hurt for the HoF.
-
Where would you put Glaus with Crede at 3rd? Would you want to convert Glaus to a 1B..... assuming, of course, that it is a player for player trade?
-
That is why I am gonna say Jon Rauch. Loaiza and Heredia? No thank you. Let's give the ball to JR and see what he can do. If he can pitch in 2003 similarly to how he pitched against the Twinkies in two games in 2002, then we're set..... injuries not withstanding.
-
Great post. With the exception of Rogers (and I wasn't that high on the White Sox getting him), the rest of the FA's left are stiffs. It's time for Rauch to get a look. He dominated in the 2 games he started against the Twinkies in 2002. I think Boras may have punched Kenny Rogers ticket to Japan himself. Doesn't look like the BoSox are gonna go with KR now either.
-
I'm gonna go with Corwin Malone or Royce Ring. I wonder who Apu thinks will be the breakout minor leaguer for the White Sox?
-
Hey Cubkilla, firstly the correct spelling is "Then" not "Than" and also, 3rd grade called. They want their insult back. Check the rest of my thread history and see how many mis-spellings I have. It's called a typo douche. Get over it.
-
Then I think it is important that I point out to you that when Strom Thurmond ran as a Segragationist, he was a member of the Democratic Party.
-
Maybe we shouldn't pay this much attention to this ranking if Bellhorn is ranked above Crede. That's a f***ing joke. :fyou
