  1. Mountain Dew works wonders too..... and it's all natural Mountain dew makes you friggin crazy. Guido says it's worse on me than alcohol
  2. Mountain Dew works wonders too..... and it's all natural
  3. The US military went into Somalia and Mogadishu during the first George Bush's presidency to supply food and aid to the sick and starving people of those countries only to be attacked by guerilla's of various regimes in those countries..... some of the regime's henchmen were even trained by Al Queda. Some will claim that the US had alterior motives (overthrowing a given countries govt.), but they cannot deny the fact that the US delivered food to the starving and impoverished of those countries only to be turned on by those that the US was trying to help. Fact of the matter is, the US helps more foreign countries during times of natural catastrophes, crisis, famine, technical disasters, etc. than any other country in the world..... and that's a fact.
  4. Could you imagine if the club owner was a white guy? I'm not black, and the blacks that I do associate with are working class that I know, primarily, through my employment. I don't think it comes as any surprise to you that the blacks I know can't stand Jesse Jackson. They see through all his BS. Remember, when it comes to Jesse Jackson, it's only racist if it's white against black or until you give his sons a liquor distributorship
  5. Very true. Jon has the stuff. If he develops consistency, especially this season, we could be one of the only teams in baseball with 3 potential 20-game winners.
  6. Make sure you keep that Vince. While it may be absolute s*** right now, considering you are probably the only guy who ever asked Klayton for an autographed pic in a White Sox uni, it will be worth a mint in about 100 years. Your great-great-great grandson will be able to make a killing on it when a White Sox collector finds out that the Klayton signature on a baseball-related item is a one-of-a-kind..... the only one known in existence
  7. Guido will know. Send him an e-mail during chisport or S'n'R
  8. I said all of that somewhere in there..... except for the product on the field..... which I totally agree with . And every game I go to, I'm always bumming food off of you..... you know you're always gonna see me if you're there..... whether RPS or Guido are with me or not. LOL
  9. f*** K-layton. For a guy that couldn't even hardly make contact with the ball for the first half of both 2001 and 2002, he was the cockiest player on the team. Then, when his bat finally made that "THWACK" sound which accompanies actually making contact with the ball, the White Sox were out of it. Couple that with him sulking and acting like a little b**** when JM sat him for a game about 3/4's of the way through 2002 and he put on street shoes instead of his cleats to protest, and you have the makings of a Grade-A Asshole. Not to mention him dating Frank's ex-wife AND one of Frank's ex-g/f's and you have what you call a "cancer" in the clubhouse. Is it any wonder Frank started to hit after that jag off was released? And, if he's so f***ing good, why didn't a playoff contender that could have used SS help (there were one or two contending teams at the time of his release) pick his useless ass up? Because other Organizations learned from what happened with him here (not that KW wasn't warned about it also before signing the dickhead). Now, Klayton gets to sulk and cry and whine and pout and blame everyone else but himself in Milwaukee. Yep..... f*** KLAYTON.
  10. f***, why does it f***ing matter what f***ing color the f***ing chairs and f***ing wall is? I mean, f***. It matters to me. I want a ballpark that no one..... from the casual fan, to the diehard, to the "moronic" sportswriter..... can use as an excuse to not go to games. I know an awful lot of casual Sox fans who have bought into the "media wrecking ball" of US Cellular Field (finally remembered to call it by it's new name). And trust me, come Opening Day, you will not read anything from the Chicago media about the team but you will read an awful lot into USCF looking like a prison cell after this years paint job. Don't get me wrong..... I'd go see the White Sox play at the Unfriendly Confined..... and I have. But I get tired of asking friends to go to a Sox game (Guido and RPS being the exceptions) only to have the media descriptions of Comiskey thrown at me..... sometimes from people that have NEVER BEEN TO USCF. If the finished product eventually looks like what was on the HKS website, then fine...... go with black, blue, gray, and green this year. But if the finished product looks nothing like the planned renovations..... get ready to defend USCF even further because from what I see..... right now..... the media is gonna tear USCF a new ass just because of the "dark" feeling you get looking at the renovations as they are for 2003. As a result, the casual fan will be alienated even further.
  11. Well..... unless he finds his stick, it better not be Harris. Anyway, an "up the middle" of Jimenez/Harris, Valentin, and Rowand is one of the weakest in baseball..... the weakest being, IMHO, the sCrUBs.
  12. You forgot about that cannon-arm that many a sports writer has likened to a "in-his-prime-and-healthy" IRod.
  13. I think you will see Alomar definitely starting when Colon is pitching and, for the first month/month and a half at least, you'll see a pretty even distribution of starts for both Alomar and Olivo. After Alomar's knees start acting up, expect to see Olivo in the more traditional everyday role.
  14. Agreed..... not to mention that PK earned a place in my heart when he single-handedly decimated the sCrUBBIES during the Friday afternoon game at Comiskey (USCF) in 2002 and, thus, became a CUBKILLA! That is why it is so hard for me when it comes to defending Carlos Lee..... another CUBKILLA. I promised from the moment Caballo jacked the grand slam off of Courtney Duncan in 2001 to win the game over Baylor's sCrUBS that I would NEVER bad mouth him. Let's just say it was really hard not to go off half-cocked when me and Guido watched him get picked off at 3rd with no one out against the Expos in 2002 at Comiskey. At the time, I believe Caballo was the tying run. One of life's "bitter pills" but, so far, I have stayed true to my word.
  15. Remember too that Mt. Greenwood is close to Beverly which is about as close to the Northside in terms of ambience as the Southside gets. Gotta figure if a Northsider has to move to the Southside, then Beverly is where he/she is going to go..... especially if they have to live in the city. I know a handful of CPD and CFD that were born and raised Northsiders (Cub fans) who moved to the Beverly neighborhood because it was close to their police/fire station.

    Prison Name

Don't cry Baggs..... I'm "b**** Ho." At least it rhymes with my real last name
  17. Two people..... Royce Klayton and Todd Ritchie
  18. Anyway, he says Maggs will be hitting behind him which implies that Thomas will be back to his old slot, the 3 hole with Konerko hitting fifth. I never thought Frank would be hitting anywhere else but 3rd this season..... unless he struggles.
  19. Oh yeah..... let's not forget blue seats
  20. Didn't hear about the padding, but green walls, yes. And it wouldn't surprise me, since it would fit in with the batter's eye better. - Pete Jesus Christ..... black underside to the upper deck roof, black light poles and scoreboard accents, gray facade inside the park, and green fences????? Excuse me while I :puke . The 68 million from US Cellular for Comiskey renovations can't come soon enough.
  21. This would have been a better title for this poll. Asking who the White Sox are going to face in the WS before ST even starts reeks of Cubbishness. Remember ShamME Soso's WS comments last year?
  22. Oh, I beat you to the punch! I got tickets a half hour after they went on sale to ISU students. Is Dave Grohl touring with Queens or are the Foo Fighters touring for their new album? Who's the Queen's drummer if he's not touring with them?
  23. Thanks Baggs..... although it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Still, he is much better with no one on than anybody on. Cooper needs to work on Damaso's state-of-mind when entering a game and inheriting baserunners. Hopefully, some of that blame could be deflected to Nardi..... although he wasn't here that long in 2002.
