  1. Sorry guys. I had a ot of s*** going on over here last night . I had to work this morning anyway. I live in the South Burbs..... would have taken me more than an hour to get up there around 6:30 on a Friday during rush hour. Do it up on the right side..... the SOUTHSIIIIIDDDDDE next time :metal
  2. Cerb saw CubKilla give Ronnie-woo woo 100.00 to rent one of his crack whores. :eek Dude..... that's wrong on so many levels
  3. True. One of the positions the White Sox are not hurting in for good players is 2B.
  4. They won't say. RPS and Cerb are the KW and Pettis of this board :metal
  5. Something to remember YASNY..... RedPinStripes is schizo!
  6. Remember that KW is our GM and the answer becomes strikingly clear. KW has been, more often than not, taken to the cleaners in his tenure as GM on trades. What could it hurt Bowden to ask?
  7. How about just forfeiting the last three games? Too bad we don't play Cincinnatti. The Bengals would hand the Bears their ass and we'd at least be one game out for number one pick..... more than likely.
  8. I'm with you there greg775. At the very worst, we have Graffy who can play 2B. But I think Jimenez will be ready to go at 2B at the start of the season. Of course, other possibilities could pan out if KW deals Harris AND Valentin. Opening Day rosters should be interesting.
  9. I'll give him credit just for sitting down and typing all that s*** out
  10. Is it possible that Pohlad and JR are long lost brothers?
  11. At least the Brewers have to deal with his .080 first half batting average this year.
  12. He had one of the best dunks I've seen in a long time though..... even I reacted like an audience member at Def Comedy Jam after seeing it and I'm white. But I'm with Cali..... I don't give a rat's ass about basketball.
  13. I'm just curious Chisoxfn, and I'm not getting confrontational here, but what has KW done to qualify himself as competent besides pull off a few "big" trades that blew up in our faces? He inherited a Division Champion in 2000 and, during his tenure, the Sox have struggled to finish 2001-02 above .500. His "hall monitor" practices and cronyism have created an unfriendly clubhouse. Since "Shouldergate," competing GM's have either (1) refused to deal KW big name player(s) fearing the player(s) they have traded for will be injured, or (2) taken our everyday starters and dealt us unproven minor leaguers or PTBNL's. And before everyone jumps on me about the "quality" minor leaguers we have obtained, let me remind you that these players do the White Sox nothing unless they prove they can play at the Major League level. KW is also the fool that dealt for Royce K-layton..... perhaps the biggest clubhouse cancer in recent White Sox history. IMHO, KW has been more incompetant than he has been competant during his White Sox tenure. He has ALOT to prove.
  14. Billy Beane isn't our GM and there is no way the Mets are going to pay JR 11 million to "take" Astacio.
  15. I don't think the Ritchie trade is a good example to use for a trade to "help the team get to the top."
  16. 1982 Molitor, Yount, Fingers..... pretty good team back in the dizzay
  17. That quote in your sig witesoxfan is so goddamn funny that I :puke. Royce K-layton and pennant go together like water and oil.
  18. Maybe. I didn't respond to the original post because I won't know until Friday afternoon whether I can go or not.
  19. If there are, I'll go out on a limb and say the player picked up's impact will be minimal
  20. I'm an ole softie where baseball and politics aren't a concern
  21. Harrelson said near seasons end that there will be new scoreboard"s" installed at Comiskey Park. How many, and which ones he didn't say.
