  1. I read somewhere that SF wanted Konerko. And for us to take JT Snow off their hands. No thank you SF :****
  2. :eek Not quite the way I would have put it, but I know where you are coming from.
  3. I don't think anyone expected him to have a BA of .100 or lower for the first two months of 2001 and 2002.
  4. Aaaaawwwww YEAH! It's on :metal

    What a Way

They're gonna be on a 2 game win streak when they play Tampa

    Star Trek Geeks

    PANTY RAID!!!!! HHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
  7. man every year i worry that the cubs are gonna actually get good. this year is probably worse than others since they are coming off a bad year and making quite a few moves. do i have a legitimate reason to worry or will history prove too strong for what is turning into a collection of all stars on the north side. Start worrying when the sCrUBs make the playoffs DK. The sCrUB uniform has a way of bringing out the very worst in a good ML player
  8. I wasn't challenging Chisoxfn to name a trade worse than the Ritchie trade Roman. I was just asking him, since he said the Ritchie trade could have been alot worse, to just give an example of how much worse it possibly could have become. But the Brock trade has gotta be in the all-time Top 10 worst trades in baseball history.
  9. Nellie Fox. There is no messing around with that dude. He's hardcore serious.
  10. Maybe it's the moment KW looks away from a computer monitor after seeing what most SOXNET posters have to say about him
  11. You've summarized my KW points to a "T" Donkey
  12. I think i know how to. Oh Jesus.....

    What a Way

In the gangway of their ex-wife's Brentwood home..... that's a different story

    What a Way

You expected these assholes to do any differently?
  15. Believe it or not, I was neither liked nor disliked at WSI. I never posted anything profane or confrontational. None of the board mods over there had a problem with me..... as far as I know. But, with all aspects of life, I can only take so much of a particular segment of people thinking that their s*** don't stink. It seems every Sox fan with this affliction moderates or posts at WSI. I still visit from time to time, but I will continue to post here..... a place where a guy like me and Cerbaho can disagree politically but not bash each other when it comes to disagreeing about the White Sox..... the reason we are all here in the first place. :metal
  16. Any deal that gets "Sox-Killer Smiley" Joe Randa out of the AL I'm all for.
  17. Just don't say nothing bad about Big Frank (whom I love in a White Sox uni)..... even when he deserves it (which I have). They'll love you to death over there at WSI if you agree that Frank can do no wrong. PK must be the new target over there. I do remember though the Cameron/PK thread started after Cam's 4 HR game off Butter. To think, a majority of them thought we got ripped in that deal. That's the types of people you're dealing with over there FanOf14.
  18. Just out of curiosity..... how much worse could it have gotten?
  19. Remember the Todd Ritchie disaster? I would have taken Glover over Ritchie in every TR start from May on.
  20. Jimenez or Hummel ar your SS's of the future..... IMHO. Which one it will be cannot be determined at this time. Acquiring Vidro won't "hinder the growth" of anybody but Harris really. Vidro is a proven commodity and trading for him give KW a few more PTBNL in other deals. One of the positions the White Sox are not hurting in for talent and number of players available is 2B.
  21. There was a story on this very topic a few weeks ago on either ESPN or FSN. The NCAA and the governing bodies for HS teams are considering going to wooden bats to lessen the number of injuries to, primarily, the pitchers. Everybody knows why this is the case. I think there is a better chance that the NCAA will do this than there is HS's.
