I kid you not..... I had a goddamn fossil attack me at Wrigley in 2000 when the White Sox beat the Cubs. I was cheering for the Sox all along and, when the White Sox won, this goddamn fossil grabbed me and his Mark McGuire look-a-like son was gonna try to pummel me if I swung at his 80 y/o dad. Even the Cub fans in the area around me were telling this old f*** to calm down. If I had my Glock on hand, I'd have capped both of them for assaulting me

It's the latest fad in America today. When you f*** up, instead of taking the blame yourself, blame everyone BUT yourself and sue! Too bad we have so many lawyers looking for work that s*** like this actually gets filed and further slows the Justice System.
-
Don't forget they make people work overtime without paying them etc. I have other reasons for not shopping at WalMart

"I'll tell you one f***ing thing. I hope we get hotter than s***, just so we can shove it up the ass of the 3,000 or so fans that come out here everyday." "85% of the world is working. The other 15% come out here (for day baseball). RIP THEM MOTHERf***ERS! RIP THEM COCKING COCKSUCKERS LIKE YOU RIP THE PLAYERS! I got guys busting their ass out there and them people boo. And that's the Cubs? MY..... f***ING..... ASS!" Lee Elia in a rant about Cub fans

Your right about this stuff rex. Time will heal all. Next Spring Training we will all be pulling again for the Sox in whatever form they take on the field. There is always that chance with KW and JR running the ship that Jerry Manuel will still be here too. We just have to wait and see I guess. Makes good fodder for posts though don't it. If KW is allowed to bring in one of his cronies like Darryl f***ing Boston then this Organization..... "can kiss my ass, right downtown, and PRINT IT!" I can guaran-f***ing-tee that this Organization will not get dime one from me from that point on until JR sells, KW is fired/resigns, and Darryl Boston is fired/resigns. Not just one of the three..... ALL f***ING THREE!!!!!

I'd love to see Fisk manage this team of prima-donnas that are only concerned about their power numbers. However, Fisk will not manage or work for any team owned by Jerry Reinsdorf after the way he was so unceremoniously released. I don't blame him either. :fyou Reinsdorf

Appreciate the effort Steve. But why don't you just say the Twins won and go back to sleep

That's not too good . But my original thought was that I don't think Torre would, for instance, move MB back a day and throw a AA pitcher at the NYY in August simply because the series was already won. Or tinker with the line-up day-to-day in the first half of the season. And I think Torre would have a better clue about how to effectively use his BP. And I think Torre would attempt to instill in the White Sox fundamental baseball. Please realize also, that I am just using Torre as an example. I am of the opinion that, if the Sox Organization is as serious about winning a WS as it said it was in July, then we'd go out and get a WS caliber manager. Not a Southern League Championship caliber manager. But, when we go the cheap route (I know we will), then the fact that some Sox players don't want an in-your-face manager is enough for me to put Backman high-up on the list of managers that would make the majority of MLB fans go

He could say the same thing about Sunday when his boy Garland pitches. If this team had any heart, ELo would have..... at the very least..... 21 wins already.

I agree 100%. I don't give a rats ass about basketball. The only time I ever watched basketball was when the Bulls were winning..... and I wouldn't watch any of the regular season games..... just the playoff games. And I'd usually skip the first round at that. :fyou Basketball

Lofton only plays when there is something to play for.
-
It couldn't have been Thomas, Ordonez, or Konerko. Were they ever on first base the whole series? My guess would be it was a guy with heart..... like Everett.

Excuses aren't just a way of life for Cubs fans..... they're a tradition. Go 'Stros
-
It can't be any worse than what Manuel's done
-
Too bad it won't be at the hands of the White Sox.
-
Maybe Frank can give me a good excuse to use on Sox management to re-coup all of the money I wasted on this team this season..... and last season..... and the season before that.....

CW you like Backman , I do not , you got your opinion on him so do I. you miss the point it is not about opinion it is use of the word "s***ty" to describe someone who has been a very successful minor league manager tell me exactly why he is "s***ty" to say you don't think that he is the person for the job is one thing and that is an opinion, right or wrong, it is legitimate to use words like "s***ty" to describe makes it something different and that is the point If you used the word "s***ty" to describe Manuel's record, that is also not the point because there is a track record there and whether I agree or not it is fair use but what has wally backman ever done to deserve such harsh language, that is the point Point is CW , he is s***ty, f*** Mr. Southern League and again i ask why do you think this.. i want your opinion ... maybe you know something about the man i dont...just lookin for other options here.......thanks..... I can care less about SoxFest's opinion. I just love when he brings the hate . You may think Backman is a good choice but SoxFest doesn't. So be it. It's not like the White Sox have resounding success when they hire a manager with absolutely zero MLB managing experience.
-
I'm sick and tired of managers with zero MLB managing experience starting their tenure on the SouthSide. Look what Dusty Baker has done for a gaggle of losers and washed-ups..... the majority of whom lost 90+ games last season..... in one season. If the Yanks fire Torre (the rumor if NYY doesn't win the WS) we better be first in f***ing line to hire him.
-
And KW is still a god to some
-
I could have cared less if they won or lost tonight.
-
Let's go Astros!!!!!
-
Booing expends energy. It would be a shame if the crowd booing gave more effort than the on-field product. I'm taking the "Who gives a f***?" attitude that I've seen the White Sox display for too much of this season.

I'll join you on Tuesday
