Why didn't Loaiza TELL Jerry he was that sick..? Rather than crying to everyone else..? Geez... I'm not a fan of JM's by any means, but it's pretty sick how he get's blamed for everything and the f***ing ADULTS on the field get a pass. When do they get to start taking some responsibility..? Remember when Rick White did this and he was brought in to pitch anyway, I think it was aginst Baltimore. I really think Jerry is on the take. I am serious he makes no good moves. Shouldn't at some point JM say, so how you feel today. Wheather he is serious or not? And people around here are so naive that they figure Loaiza complained about being sick to anyone who'd listen but that not one person, NOT ONE PERSON, that he complained to would go up to JM and say, "ELo said he's deathly ill. Go talk to him about starting tonight." Right. So he wouldn't talk to JM for what reason? Why is it Graffanino's responsibility to tell JM "hey don't start Esteban" when in fact, Esteban might be sick, but still ok to pitch. Geez.. I'm with you jinx.. errr.. Koch That's pretty cool if Loaiza has a little babysitter like that. Wonder if someone else wipes but butt for him, too... Why don't you ask someone in the White Sox Organization since you claim to know so many "insiders."

That was done strictly because JR knows another "White Flag" would have been Organizational suicide. Nothing more. KW had nothing to do with it. We'll get compensation picks for guys like Everett and Colon. The moves were a "White Flag" without appearing to be "White Flag" on the surface. Don't be fooled. If this team was serious about this Division, we would have acquired a 5th starter for one. Starting a AA BB-machine in August is hardly the look of a "contender." Then there's Danny Wrong who's career best pitching is already behind him..... having won something like his last 7 starts in '02. The moves that KW didn't make are what doomed this team. And firing JM at the All-Star Break is definitely another one of them.

1. Jerry Manuel 2. Jerry Manuel; and 3. Jerry Manuel I'm sure some here will defend this bozo's decision to start a sick ELo. I posted in another thread that it's now being reported that ELo vomited in the clubhouse before the game and told Farmer he'd be lucky if he didn't throw up on the mound in a pregame interview. Yet our "genius" manager starts ELo when he's sick and an overmatched Cotts just because we already won the series in NY. I'm sick and tired of the constant f***-ups by this idiot.
-
Funny that you use the phrase, "ready to vomit." Looks like reports by JM that ELo was only suffering from "a cough" before the game was greatly exagerrated. Supposedly, ELo told Ed Farmer in the pregame that he'd be lucky if he didn't vomit on the mound. And it is now being reported by some that ELo was violently ill last night..... vomiting in the clubhouse before the game. :fyou Manuel

Most are lying to themselves if they believe the Sox, barring a MN breakdown, have a chance.

Maybe if Cleveland has a dead arm power closer to trade KW could be duped again
-
The Sox play KC and NY after this Twinks series. Twinks play CLE and DET. Sox are out of magic.
-
Nope. We got butt-Foulked by KW (like always) with his personal trade for Botch. But he's an aggressive GM trading for more offense when, it should be clear after 2002, that offense isn't going to win you any Championships. Maybe it'll get through his thick melon when the White Sox don't make the postseason this year either.
-
I'll make a new one later if I have time, maybe it can say "Win or Else". Or my favorite, "It's Over." How about an '03 Detroit team pic with "SPOILERS" imposed above it and the ugly truth..... like a little less than 25% of Detroit's 38 wins were at the hands of the White Sox?
-
Don't let anybody here tell you otherwise..... Detroit already played spoiler. I don't mind a Twin on the banner. But that cocksucker Mienkiewicz?
-
It doesn't look good. I honestly can't say that I didn't see this coming though.
-
And like I said, he should fire himself while he's at it.

If you were allotted one WS Championship....

I guess the League didn't have a problem with ShamME using corked bats to put on a show for invisible fans at Wrigley Field though :fyou the local and national media for not exposing ShamME as the fraud that he is when they had the chance. -
We can talk seriously when we know how this team finishes out '03. I think it's gonna be ugly.
-
JR still has one year left to pay on his contract . When's the last time JR gave money away for nothing..... other than when KW deals Durham for Adkins AND pays OAK for taking Durham KW should take a long walk off of a short pier while he's at it.
-
That would be a "yes".

You're about as optimistic as I am It's over kids. The only way we win this Division is if Minnesota has a catostrophic meltdown. Only a few teams have had one of those that I can recall and the last one happened in '69.
