Heard a rumor today that the "new" Soldier Field failed a seating area "stress test." Supposedly, the seating area "sunk" 10 inches during the process. Don't ask me how they do it, but 10 inches is not good by any standard..... I would think anyway. I'm hearing that they may have to move 09/29's game against Green Bay to Lambeau. Also hearing that the Bears Organization has "oversold" tickets to the same game..... not enough seats for tickets sold. At the very least, I think it's an interesting rumor.

The ugly truth must have po'd alot of Leprechaun fans. Pretty soon, the ND threads on the Off Topic Board will have more bumps than posts. Failing to acknowledge a ND loss when you're such a diehard ND fan is also very "Cubbish." Like they say, if you can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen. Well, when ND gets lucky one week with a comeback against an unranked team then gets their asses handed to them when they play a real college football team, stand up for the team you shoved down our throats for their comeback the week before. Don't disappear "fairweather's." Having said that, ND moved up 5 spots in the rankings last week after squeaking by an unranked team. Michigan moves up 2 spots after beating ND . Who says everything about ND isn't very Cub-like?

I'll say one thing. Bmr has balls. I'd never bet on the Bears..... for anything. They're bad enough to get blown out by 45 if the spread is 3 but good enough to lose by 10 if the spread is 11. However, that being said, Minnesota isn't as good as everyone is hyping them to be. A good team would have buried the Bears early last night like SF did the week before.

At 2-10, some on this board predicted MB would finish at or near .500. Most laughed at the few of us that claimed it..... saying MB "sucked," or, "Go home to St. Louis..... where you want to be anyway." Mark is now one game under .500, yet none of his bashers voice as much as a "way to go" for the guy. No wonder why MLBPA feels White Sox fans are the 3rd worst in the League. The Parque-haters have been vocal for awhile now cw. Butter really turned off alot of fans when the Sun-Times printed that Butter-b****-Fest when he was in the White Sox minor league system. Butter's, "whoa is me..... I've done everything they wanted me to, but I'm still in the minor leagues when I should be in the Major Leagues, what else do I have to do?", while only being able to go 5-6 innings in the minor leagues with an astronomical ERA", pissed off alot of Sox fans. Then to come up here and get OWNED by Cameron when he's "ready"? Most Sox fans said, "f*** him" after that. I know I did.

That's because he was never able to get past the 5th or 6th inning

I wouldn't have a problem starting Colon either in a one game playoff or Game One of a Divisional Playoff. However, I do think it's funny that since Loaiza..... a 19-game winner and the only Cy Young Candidate on this team..... lost his last outing, it is seen as "slipping" by most on this board.
