  1. My heart and nerves can use the day off. Would be so sweet for Cleveland to win tonight putting the White Sox in first place without throwing a pitch or swinging a bat.
  2. ELo, Garland, BC were the SP's given by Hawk during the Sox broadcast yesterday. Minnesota will counter with Radke, Rogers, Lohse.
  3. Yeah. It's in a separate thread
  4. This is where props should go to JG. He's been pitching that way for most of the season. Hopefully the offense shows up for him this time.
  5. True. Speculation and rumor threads always make for interesting posts as well. What might be. Why JR won't pony up the cash. Etc. At this point in the baseball season, what we see is what we get.
  6. I figured he wouldn't go to WSI
  7. A sweep would be great. 2 of 3 at the very minimum. Less than that, and you can forget the PostSeason unless MN has a monumental '69-like Cubs breakdown against Detroit and Cleveland.
  8. Where's he posting? Anywhere?
  9. We need at least 2 out of 3. Anything less, and it's over.
  10. ..... has Clu been ? Anyone?
  11. No. He's too busy today tinkering with Tuesday nights line-up against MN. But when he does get around to it, I'm sure he'll find a way to f*** it up. This is one of the reasons why this MN series in MN is critical to win. Going into KC the last week of the season with the Division wrapped up or a 2-3 game lead (Magic Number 1 or 2) means JM could option one start to give either BC, EL, or MB extra rest for a possible tie-breaker. At the very least, being able to rest one of those guys for Game 1 of a possible ALDS would be HUGE. However, I don't think JM will have that luxury. You may be looking at JG going Game 1 of a possible ALDS simply because JM will have to use our best just to get into the ALDS.
  12. That is exactly what I said too. As a matter of a fact I have no doubts I would rather have him than Schow. I said it then, and I will say it again now. The backers will disagree with me, but I see it as yet another example of JM's ineptitude when it comes to anything dealing with a BP.
  13. Go figure I didn't see that coming
  14. Which is all the more reason for US to fear the Yankees
  15. Unfortunately, we have the same dips*** as manager
  16. They are scared s***less of the Chi Sox too. That'd be something to see. If you're talking about the Yankees and Oakland, I'd have to disagree with your assessment. I was talking about the Spank-mees. The NY papers said as much not too long ago. I read that article. That was just one writers opinion. I don't think the Yankees fear anyone. And the regular season always seems to be preseason for the Yankees. They usually kick it up a gear or two come October.

  18. Why don't you calm the f*** down? The only reason why people here concluded that you were avoiding the messageboard topics on ND losing was because you were so "vocal" the week before when ND was mounting their comeback. You even devoted this whole f***ing thread to it. And before you ask me again if I, "can..... f***ing read," why don't you look at who I addressed the reply to that you quoted me from. It was a possible explanation why NO Notre Dame fans were posting about the game on Saturday or Sunday..... not just why 'Koch This' wasn't. Don't "f***ing read" anything into a post that isn't SAID in the post. The only two that have replied are you and Doublem and I know FOR A FACT that there are plenty of other misguided college football fans out there that treat ND football as if ND was their alma mater. And if ND wins their next game, I can guaran-f***ing-tee at least three separate threads to how "awesome" ND is.

    DAMNIT!!!

The plastic nametags on the trunk/door/hood of your car.
  20. Or the pitching is just getting better
  21. Well, if dumbass JM didn't start the 0-for-the-day Daubach at first, you could have had BD bat where Rios batted. Of course, with a RH pitcher, the easily read JM had to have a lefty bat. The only two you had off the bench at that time, if I'm not mistaken, were Rios and Harris. That's why you need Daubach on the bench if the only other two lefties you have on the bench are Rios and Harris. "Stupid baseball" by both ARios and JM "the wise one"
  22. Tie-breakers on 09/29. AL/NL Divisional Series start the afternoon of 09/30.
