POLL: SHOULD Sox fans root for the Cubbiies or
CubKilla replied to Be Good's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Then they'll be talking about the consecutive sell-outs at USCF. :fyou Cubs fans and :fyou anyone else more concerned about attendance than what happens on the field. -
I hope everyone here realizes that the White Sox have been on the receiving end of more bad calls by the umps than good calls. Considering Hawk views all 162 White Sox games from the press box, and considering he's called on JM to argue many of the bad calls when JM just sits there and tinkers, you gotta figure that the bad calls are getting to Hawk. I don't have a problem with Hawk harping on bad calls when the calls cost us runs.

I'd take Maggs and C Lee over Frank Thomas at this point.

Sounds like he committed the offense of being a dumbf***

Joe Posnansk: Pena Says "It's not over yet"
CubKilla replied to BridgeportHeather's topic in Pale Hose Talk
hey heather.. before you go counting world series playoff games before they hatch.. just remember that we have a tough schedule coming up and we could very well easily be that 4 and 1/2 games back when all is said and done Hey HSC..... did anyone ever tell you that you make alot of sense for being a chick ? It ain't over until KC is mathematically eliminated. Everyone needs to remember that. -

The pics are also on the wall in the Bullpen Sports Bar

If you cannot attend a White Sox win in person, a Cubs loss will always do to calm the baseball beast within

What was the name of that Kansas City columnist that was talking s***? I think he deserves another email. Joe Posnanski (sp?)

Remember that f***tard that came over here in May after the MN sweep in the RollerDome? TWINSSWEEPSOX or something like that. He posted pics of brooms. I'd love to find out who that jagoff was if the White Sox do win this Division and troll where he posts for the first time IN MY LIFE! :fyou Twins and :fyou KC fans

Then refresh my memory with absolutely DOMINANT Botch outings this season. And the Game 4 save against Detroit on 04/04 doesn't count .
-
I'm sorry, but all of you that constantly start these threads preaching to the choir about attending Sox games can go take a long walk off of a short pier. Or pound sand up your ass. Whatever you'd prefer. I've been to games against Detroit (including a 1-0 Loaiza loss!), Tampa Bay, Cleveland, KC, Oakland, and Minnesota. I think that qualifies me for cwsox's playoff lottery .

I disagree. IMHO, USCF does TOO MUCH for families and not enough for young adults with disposable income.
-
The credit is coming from the Daily SOUTHtown though . It'd be a real SHOCKER if credit came from the Sun-Times or Tribune.

I'll give you three chances and the first two don't count

Pierzynski was 0-2 when MB hit him. AJ may own MB lifetime but was in no way owning MB last night. And as far as admiring HR's goes, whatever uniform you wear when you do it, it's classless..... although the Sox weren't admiring quite as long as such notables..... namely Bonds, Soso, and Hunter. However, I think C Lee's "admiring" was more along the lines of..... to borrow a Hawkism here..... "right size, wrong shape." He was watching to see if the ball would stay fair. It was obviously hooking back towards the foulpole in replays.

The family lives in a housing project but has $2000 readily available to settle the lawsuit, a computer, and $29.99 to pay for downloading software? Interesting. I wonder what other "necessities" the family has while US Taxpayers pay for their room and board .

Who didn't hit one off of Botch? A guy who's cross-eyed smoked a walk-off courtesy of Botch

If there was a sure fire, easy way to let UD fans take in the LD amenities before the game I would hope that the White Sox Organization would do it. However, I do not believe that there is an easy way to do it. The only way to ensure pseudo-compliance is the way that the White Sox do it now.
-
Rant understood FlaSoxxJim. But if I get tix to the ALDS if the White Sox win the AL Central, taking in the amenities will take a back seat to sitting in my seat, in the left or right field top row corner behind the foulpoles if need be. If Sox fans are more concerned with amenities than cheering on the White Sox..... FROM WHATEVER SEAT YOU HAVE..... I'd suggest you rearrange your priorities and think about just why it is that you go to the games at USCF.

Considering the sCrUBS are in the midst of a possible playoff berth and the fact that Chicago TV didn't have special reports on ShamME's condition, I figured it couldn't have been that bad. Thanks DK

Not big enough though I think a 6-8 game losing streak would be big enough. MN currently at 2

We have the market cornered on BP meatballers

Good thing it wasn't Blyleven who downright despises the Chicago White Sox. I'm sure listening to him and whoever he broadcasts with would have been tantamount to listening to Chimp and Stoney :puke.
