That was the most pathetic display of NFL football by one team that I have seen in recent memory. Absolutely awful. I couldn't help but feel sorry for Kordell Stewart considering his offensive line only gave him about 2 seconds each pass play to convert. And "A-Train" needs a new nickname. His running skills are worse than Rashaan Salaam's ever were. It's going to be a very long '03 Bears season.

I remember this poll well. WSI won because all of their posters voted hundreds of times for WSI each. WSI went as far as to pin The Thread and posters over there were posting that they were on vote number 573 and counting..... urging other members of WSI to inflate the numbers in WSI's favor. Looks like they succeeded. SoxNet's admins, on the otherhand, pinned a thread asking for anyone that wanted to vote for SoxNet in this poll to only vote for SoxNet once to get an accurate result of where SoxNet falls amongst knowledgeable baseball fans. WSI isn't that highly regarded.
  3. he did do well today.. and he didnt even have to clean up cotts mess...... Cotts had no business being up with the Sox in the first place. Who called it?

Go to the ticket window and tell them where you'd like to sit. If they have the seating available, they will sell the tix to you. Prices start at $36 a ticket though for the primo seats.
  6. Yeah. In '01 the Sox wore the 1917 jersey on Sundays.
  7. I'd say it's greatly misinformed, and just more perpetuation of the misconceptions that the media has spoon fed those willing to sit back and get their information the easy way. Well then set the record straight. Ditto
  8. I can't go back and analyze every game the White Sox have lost this season, but I'm positive you could come up with atleast 8 losses that JM was indirectly responsible for. JM hasn't had a consistent closer in 2 seasons. Add to that that JM doesn't have clue number 1 on how to deal with or how to effectively use his BP. JM preached small ball when he was hired as White Sox manager, yet we see only glimpses of small ball when needed once every 20 or so games. JM has a penchant for playing bench players the last game of a series if the White Sox have already won the series before the last game starts. JM says he's going to try something different for a specific series then never does it. Let's not forget JM's "Little League" approach to starters earlier on in the '03 season..... everybody got to play atleast 2 days a week. JM doesn't have clue-f***ing-1 and the only solace I will take from the White Sox possibly not making the playoffs this season is that JM will probably be and should almost definitely be fired.

I took a test called the "ASFAB" (?) during my senior year in HS when I was considering either the Marine Corp. or the Army. I told them I wanted to be a pilot. They said my test results placed me into the pilot categories. I said I wanted it in writing. They wouldn't do it. The test was fairly easy from what I remember.

  12. I don't care if we win the World Freakin' Series..... FIRE JERRY MANUEL!
  13. That's only because..... 1.) We can do it and get away with it ; and 2.) We know it pisses people off

Well, I'm pro-choice, pro-capital punishment, and pro-euthanasia. Kill 'Em All is not just a Metallica album name, it's a life-motto for me. There are entirely too many idiots alive and well that will never be affected by either 3 anyway. DEATH=GOOD
  15. USCF does still have police/fire nights for specific homegames if I'm not mistaken. So the courtesy is extended to public servants occasionally. While watching the Cardinals games in S Illinois last weekend, Busch Stadium is offering Police/Fire/EMS/Doc and Nurses/Construction personnel $5 tickets on Sept. 11th. I haven't heard of anything for the above from the White Sox on Sept. 11th.
  16. Why's that? From what I'm told by people in the know, neither of USCF's half-price nights count towards the yearly attendance totals. And the Illinois Taxpayer pays JR's rent at USCF when the attendance doesn't reach X-million people. Not to mention holding Sox fans and Chicago hostage in the late 80's since he was too cheap or too lazy to fund/find funding to build a ballpark which the White Sox would own exclusively. Then there's the consistent cheapness with regards to this team. And while I applaud everything JR does for charities, you can bet the bank that JR gets it all back when he files his taxes on April 15th. Excuse me if I don't nominate His Cheapness for sainthood . Given JR's track record in the public forum, I wouldn't call what I said "immature" as much as I would say it is informed.
  17. It's probably another loophole JR thought of to fill the ballpark without the military personnel in attendance being counted towards the yearly attendance.

Any team that whoops the Bears
  19. Does Notre Dame play? If so, who? And whoever it is, I hope they hand Notre Dame their f***ing ass. f*** NOTRE DAME AND f*** RUDY!!!!!
  20. f*** NOTRE DAME!!!!!
  21. Any team owned by the McCaskey Family. f*** 'em for f***ing over generations of loyal Bears fans with their f***ing "seat licenses." And Mike McCaskey is a little twerp. Not to mention, any offense with Kordell Stewart at QB but John Shoop at Offensive Coordinator is bound to fail before Game 1 even starts. Chicago fans deserve better than the f***wipes we have that own Chicago's 4 major sports franchises. And I didn't forget about the 5th either. :fthecubs

    70 for me
  23. The White Sox have been on the receiving end of alot of s***ty ump calls this season. I hope someone in the White Sox Organization has the ear of Bud Selig and this problem gets rectified extremely soon.
  24. I think the Sox have been doing this for a few months now. Good for you NUKE. You guys definitely deserve the gratitude
  25. Rooney jumped all over Womanny for not digging out a ground ball. You're not the only one that noticed that Womanny is extremely lax.
