I remember the media claiming frazier was the next great yankee, such a travesty for them

I love offseason soxtalk where everyone gets excited with potential big free agents only to see hahn dumpster dive in the end

Id much rather not even bother unless theres a friendly club option for a second year. Berrios just got a lower avv than what syndergaard got. Mind blowing. The angels should be spending on better options instead of blowing their load on a pitcher that will be lucky to throw 90 innings next season. Syndergaard was basically begging the mets for a qualifying offer.

That syndergaard deal is a gross overpay

Its going to be a short window with how bad our minor league system is and will continue to be

Im not going to question the dodgers

Thats what I was thinking, something like 3 years with a load of bonuses should he pitch a certain amount of innings and how well.

What a waste of pilkington

I am being ultra pessimistic but with our minors being DEAD LAST and our MLB team suffering from old school philosophy I just can't get excited with the potential of this clubs short window.

Chapman would look good in black

No chance to get Semien

Good for Madrigal, I don't have much faith in the "old school" crowd. I hope he becomes an allstar player for the Cubs for the next 5-6 years.

Good morning guys, remember when we gave up our 4th overall pick for a closer that had 30 good innings for the first time in 3 years? Good times.

Cash grab, they will settle out of court

If theres a strike that takes out a chunk of the season i think illbe done with baseball

Braves pitchers didnt start shaking on the mound and actually pitched well in houston. Wow. Must be nice. Thats even with losing their starter for the series. Its amazing what happens when you hit the ball in the air and dont walk everyone.

you ok?

I have no idea, is he like his dad or does he care?

The Dodgers have been World Series contenders for YEARS and will be contenders for the foreseeable future, meanwhile we snuck out 1 playoff win in the last 13 years with a short window due to having the worst developmental minor league system in the game. Your thread belongs in the trash.

No because you could see the pressure get to our starting staff. The Red Sox would have teed off on us just like Houston did. Can't win many playoff games when your starters piss themselves on the mound and cant go more than 2 innings.

im sure they care about world hunger too

Would be something if the Tigers get both Semien and Correa

Can we get a new hitting coach please? One that shows these guys how to hit the ball in the air?
