Honestly I am just happy the "Coop will fix 'em" posts stopped. Cooper hasnt "fixed" anyone in a while. I have this gut feeling that Fulmer will turn into a serviceable pitcher eventually. Looking at his season numbers his walk rate has been cut in half despite his high ERA. Good gamble by the Tigers.

Tim Anderson is huge for this team, i am finally all in on him. He is becoming much less of a hack at anything hitter and actually has developed patience. Yeah his walk rate isnt the best but he swings and has good contact against pitches in the zone right now.

New year, same old approach. Pitching has evolved over the last few years and our hitters are still taking an approach to swing out of their boots. No apparent gameplan. Insane amount of K's. No walks. Drive the ball into the ground and cross your fingers. Bad baserunning. Nonsense injuries. Horrible fielding. With those descriptions you wouldn't know what year of the White Sox I would be talking about because every year has been the same. You watch teams who are consistently making the playoffs and they work counts, draw walks, and put the ball in play. They have solid fundamentals and hustle. They don't make a spectacle of themselves in the field and laugh about it. Its so tiring having this talent wasted by such putrid coaching and preparation. I watched 1 full inning yesterday and had to turn it off. We saw something like 3 K's on 11 or so pitches. When I saw the hitters act like they didnt even want to be there I decided I no longer wanted to watch.

yeah, thats why i cancelled. I find my streams through other means now. Its ridiculous that you pay AND have to be subjected to commercials. Obnoxious
