    God awful offense Saturday and Sunday. Friday was fun but Corpseball the other 5 games against the Cubbies.

    The nice thing is that Colson has shown he can play both positions well so we have that flexibility down the road....but I'd definitely move him back to SS for now.

    I personally can't wait for the day that they have enough quality players that he is not in the lineup.

    Chase has had a bad defensive play in every one of these games. He is not going to make many spectacular plays so he needs to make the regular MLB plays at SS.

    Ok, random useless comment from Uncle Wegner... The 1st time I saw an opener was Tampa Bay against the Sox and the Ray's pitcher struck out 5 out of the 6 he faced and then he didn't come out for the 3rd inning. I didn't understand the point of it that day and to be honest I still do not understand the point of the opener.

    True, but it was nice to dream of a sweep for a day. I do think if Vargas comes through in the 1st, this would've been a different ballgame.
