I liked Len Kaspers idea....play regular baseball for 11 or 12 innings and let it end in a tie. It's a long friggin season....I would leave the stadium or sleep better with a tie than with a bullshit Manfred loss. Who in the fucks idea was it initially to award a guy 2B who's only accomplishment was making the last out in the previous inning??

I'm not sure what I hate more...Manfred ball or bullpen games.

Off on Monday, starting pitchers on Tuesday and Wednesday both went 7 innings, bullpen game on Friday. Like someone said earlier...so soon after the trade deadline and don't have a starter to use so stuck with bullpen game in game 1 of a crucial series. Terrible indeed.

If you count Urquidy, Getzy did get 2 starting pitchers before the trade deadline. And in a funny sidebar, when I tried to type Getzy above, my phone changed it to Get Lazy.

I don't know if it would have changed the ultimate outcome of the game, but the umps affected the game by that ejection.
