  1. Bring them both home and put them in the starting rotation, stat.
  2. Honestly it is not who gets hired for the front office that will keep me away. It is the lousy product on the field that will do that. I have been to 3 home games this year and they got their asses kicked every single one of those games....those memories will be what keeps me away until this team becomes an entertainment option that is worth going to see in person.
  3. Yeah, who knew a .500 ballclub was the good times to remember back on.
  4. I drive the Dan Ryan at night often and that scares my wife because of how often drivers are shooting at other cars. It was not that long ago that a woman was killed that way going home from Sox Park. Violent crime has gotten worse in the city, it just has. I don't understand how people can deny that.
  5. Of course you do, but for how well he has pitched lately, he probably moves on.
  6. He is outstanding defensively at 3B. I was against the Burger trade but I also thought the talk of moving Moncada to 2B to make room for Burger at 3B was ridiculous. Premium defense is important and Moncada provides that at 3B.
  7. Yard work time....I'll take a 6-1 lead by the time I get back please.
  8. Me too.....I usually end up mumbling "I hate the friggin North Side".....only I didn't say frigggin.
  9. A nice chunk of the North Side is a mess on Cubs game days...ever been up there when the Cubs are playing and it's a street festival weekend? Ugghhh.
  10. He played with the Yankees and might not have liked that pressure cooker...similar to Boston. I've never been too down on him. He seems like a decent guy plus I couldn't stand Pollock....talk about a guy who did not want to be here and showed it.
  11. I ran my location idea by my better half and she said..."YOU MEAN THAT SUPERFUND SITE?!!" "Somebody's got to clean it up and the land will be cheap" She walked away but only after agreeing that Arlington Heights was a bad idea too.
  12. Yeah I did think of the pedestrian issue after I posted so I understand your point. Just spitballing.
  13. Yep they lived close to downtown so that must've been it.
  14. We had friends who lived in Arlington Heights and honestly every time we drove to see them it was a nightmare, so I think it would suck
  15. How about that huge plot of land just off I55 at the Damen Ave exit in the McKinley Park neighborhood? Point it in the right direction and you'd have a great view of the skyline. Could build a nice complex with parking for a great tailgate experience and that location would work for the logistics of Sox fans much better than Arlington Heights imo. Biggest downfall is lack of public transportation. Sox could easily run shuttles to and from the Orange line though.

Will we see him in Chicago next year or should I ask...Should we see him in Chicago next season?
  17. If noone is in the Gamethread, did the White Sox still win?
  18. I can't remember anyone who takes more 3rd strikes than Yoan Moncada
  19. Pedro with a dinner date giving the 3-0 Greenlight to Thompson?
  20. He got the first 2 out today and I thought that this guy is not hard to root for, then I realized it was probably the 2nd beer that was talking
  21. Why does it feel like everytime I watch these days it is Shaw pitching, and Lambert warming up?
