When I got home last night, my better half was watching "Moneyball". Not the greatest movie but I sat down with it on in the background. What I thought was funny and never caught before, when Beane trades away Giambi and Pena, he also sends some guys to the minors.....one of those guys was Menechino. I laughed when I heard that and thought of this thread.

Barber's piece is without a doubt one of my favorite classical works. I too thought of this scene when I saw Platoon at the top of your list. Well done, Sir.

Much like I didn't like TLR the first time he was here, I didn't like Top Gun. Don't like TLR now so I'm not wasting 2-3 hours of my time in the theater.....that's what Sox games are for. But you enjoy.

We were just at the movies yesterday and I gave a big thumbs down when the Top Gun trailer came on....my wife disagreed with my assessment.

I was intrigued by the trailer but not sure....the Dr Strange multiverse disappointed me a bit to be honest so that may be clouding my judgment.
