It makes me extra excited to listen to Len call playoff baseball on the radio for the Sox. I thought he was very good before hearing that call. That was outstanding. Add in DJ and his tribute to Farmio and it is damn near perfect.

I initially thought the Cubbies but they are going to be so awful for awhile that I thought they might avoid them. If they are going Cubs, I would go them against the Cardinals. If they do go with the Dodgers...they should wear the Brooklyn uniforms imo.

My brother was at the game and said it was pandemonium when Timmy hit it. He said it was basically a home crowd....there was a small contingent of Yankee fans seated by their dugout who got loud after Stanton's homer but nothing like the noise for the big Walk Off!!!

Since the Sox will not be in the next one per what Manfred said prior to the game....I would probably go with 2 NL teams for the next one....Dodgers v Cardinals maybe.

Excellent point on Scotty's...however that extra inning game was terrific how it ended with Buehrle getting the save. Not a home run, but I put Crede's huge hit to end the dropped 3rd strike game against Boston up there as well. Probably also because I was there.

To be honest, I only saw it live and the replays they showed....however I have listened to Len Kasper's call with DJ chiming in the awesome "light it up" numerous times.

I'm not sure my nerves can handle Liam closing in the postseason but he does have a great closer's mentality and will put this game behind him I am sure. One thing I whole-heartedly agree with Hendriks about....those uniforms need to be put in the rotation. They looked outstanding out there.
