With all our injuries, maybe this is not the year to overpay to get us over the top? I know that some think our window is smaller but is now the time to go all in? However, to play devils advocate....maybe our starting rotation will not be this good again during the window so this is the time to go for it?

My thinking is...if Eloy comes back this offense cannot risk him going down again this season....the safest way to do that is to have him be the primary DH for the rest of this season.

Unless Yermin turns it around, I would guess Eloy finishes the year at DH when he returns.

My days of being mad about losing a Steele Walker are over...we are in the contention window and prospects are for going to get reinforcements at this point. We might get burned in the long run sometimes but its gotta be done.

There used to be a time where you could come to the game thread and not be lied to....but I guess those days are gone.
