I will take that as a positive from this game. It sounds like it will be hard for guys to square up Carson with his movement. I fully concur with the idea of keeping him up here. No reason not to at this point.

I'll preface this by saying that I have always really liked Abreu, so it saddens me to say that he is looking like Jermaine Dye when he just regressed very quickly in that last half season with the Sox. I hope I am wrong, but Abreu is just looking awful.

What I would like them to do is to realistically target those tier 2 free agents that they like and go after them early and aggressively with short term contracts and get some more MLB talent in here next year. Adding that proven major league talent with Madrigal and Robert next year would be exciting. Then when they are done with the above and still want to play games like signing Gerrit Cole’s wife’s aesthetician as a beauty consultant for the team, go right ahead.

Since he was traded, there is no worry about losing a pick I think.
