He did. But the big thing i notice is his bat speed noticeably looks slower, and he also seems more passive at the plate this year. I think fatigue is getting to him. Either way, he needs to work on his conditioning this offseason

Agreed. I was posting last offseason that we didnt need grandal and that ozuna shouldve been our primary target (after starting pitching). Felt the same way about EE. Ended up talking myself into both after the fact, but am really disappointed in both. trying to talk myself now into grandal over the next four years, but id rather have mccann and that money still available for pitching

Would really like to know if grandal and mccann call their own games or if one/both are receiving signs from the dugout. Early in the season it looksd like grandal was, but not as much anymore. I think this is a really underrated part of mccanns game in that he seems to sequence pitches and location better than grandal does
