The best the White Sox could do in response to these comments would be to send a message out that looks something like this: "In light of recent comments that have been both directly and indirectly aimed at our organization, we openly acknowledge that we've made a lot of mistakes, and we are actively trying to correct them through reasons x, y, z. We understand that words are simply not enough and we ultimately need results." Something like that we go a LONG way. But they are too damn prideful to do anything remotely like that.

Yeah, but Gio and Dylan are still major league players. They can't really afford to bad mouth other teams. Lynn is retired. I also don't find any fault with what he said. He doesn't sound like he had any angst, he was just stating his observations and lived experiences.

It mattered exactly 0% for the last "rebuild" and will probably matter the same % for this one. Regardless, this is exciting news, and should be the first call up of hopefully a few more that will give us a reason to at least tune in to the games.
