  1. My first thread of the young (yet seemingly very long) season. See if we can get a winning streak going here. Fulmer (replacing the injured Migo) vs Leake Leake struck out 7 Astros in his last start, giving up 5 runs, only allowing one walk Mariners are 11-9 Sox Lineup: 1) Moncada 2) Avi (2 hits yesterday, see if he can keep it up) 3) Abreu 4) Delmonico 5) Beef 6) Yolmer 7) Matty D (Dude needs another 3 homer game) 8 ) Timmy 9) Ya boi Engel
  2. And then wait some more
  3. My opinion. Engel has until the end of the month to prove he can start (that's a week away), then I think you will see Thompson start the majority of the games. I still think Engel has a place on THIS team, I just think it is way more suited as a late-inning running/defensive replacement.

Welcome!! I warn you to not go on the game threads for at least 2 years haha. JK, it is in those threads you will see how passionate we are as fans. We live with the team, and, sadly, die with the team (seems to be more often than not these days)...but with the rebuild fully underway, only a matter of time before we conquer the league (or, at least the division) for years!!
  5. Rodon is the first step. One step at a time. Hopefully this will be his last major injury setback
  6. It is so nice to see a major league pitcher on our team
  7. Yeah, high pitch count for the first inning but he doesn't look lost or frustrated. His slider and curve are coming out of his hand really nicely. Unlike Giolito, Lopez has the feel for the release point. And his stuff is major league quality. He may very well be the ace of this staff in 2 years. He just needs to attack the zone.
  8. Yeah I agree with this assessment. I mean, they offered Ventura his managerial position after the 2016 season. With the way players are praising Renteria for how he manages this team, I would say he is in it for the long-haul. I don't really mind him that much to be honest. He's not the reason this team is losing. It's their lack of talent, and I would even say some of the coaches. It's always so easy to blame the managers and coaches when a team is dong horribly, but I think the situations are not usually as black and white as we want to make them out to be.
  9. I don't think they win the game, but I think Lopez at least makes it competitive.
  10. He would've been safe had he not slowed down.
  11. Well, that's accurate. He's given up 8 runs.
  12. Anyone watching this current game...like I said, it is going to get worse before it gets better.
  13. Wonder why there is so many people there. Must be the give away.
  14. No release point. Absolutely no feel for his pitches. It's all in his head.
  15. Wellington didn't even attempt to catch that
  16. Yeah I agree. He's losing that spot privilege faster every game.
  17. Wow. As if the Houston needed any help from the umpire. How the hell is anyone supposed to hit that way out there?
  18. Unless it's a hit I'm gonna be pissed if Avi pulls the ball and it's an out
  19. Like I said in my other thread...this is gonna get worse before it gets better.
  20. Maybe we go with 2 bench players and another pen arm...this is brutal for the pen. 30 pitches in the first inning. Let's go with Narvaez and...Leury?
