  1. Per the Doppler Radar, that rain ain't ending in Minny any time soon.
  2. QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ Jun 22, 2017 -> 01:26 PM) Just keep an eye out here: https://twitter.com/Twins?ref_src=twsrc%5Eg...7Ctwgr%5Eauthor Thanks!
  3. Anyone hear anything yet on the time?
  4. QUOTE (beautox @ Jun 21, 2017 -> 09:34 PM) This rebuild is going to be tough for a lot of people here to stomach between the lapses in defense with a rookie player and having young aggressive players bat leadoff or top of the order in an attempt to get them adjusted quicker by getting them more PAs, this going to drive some people to heart failure. Yeah, it's a marathon, not a sprint.
  5. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 21, 2017 -> 09:24 PM) He had so much swagger last year. He seems completely opposite this season. His personal issues that have happened this year may have something to do with it. I remember last year when Jose scuffled for most of the season, all of a sudden he remembered how to hit once his son came to visit.
  6. QUOTE (reiks12 @ Jun 21, 2017 -> 09:21 PM) Anderson is a complete disaster He may not be a long term shortstop. But from what I've seen from Renteria this year, he will give Tim a talking to in the dugout.
  7. QUOTE (Knackattack @ Jun 21, 2017 -> 09:16 PM) 26.0 K%, .666 OPS, .120 ISO, -21.9 UZR/150 ...... time to worry or no? After what I've seen from Avi this year, if that is any indication of anything, if anyone is worrying right now about our young 2nd year shortstop in our first rebuilding season, then you're in for a LONG 2017, 2018, and possibly 2019 season.
  8. Holmberg is gonna give up 7 runs before he exits with the way he is pitching. Bullpen labored yesterday, so he ain't coming out any time before the 5th IMO. Need some good old fashioned luck here, and some help from the homepage ump at the plate.
  9. Holmberg keeps falling behind hitters, forcing him to throw 88 mph meatballs over the center of the plate. Surprised Twins haven't scored more.
  10. No. Don't trade him. He's a core part of this rebuild. He can be the teams star player in 2 years if he really did figure it out. And if he did, not likely any prospect will match what he is doing.
  11. Davidson is gonna finish with over 40 bombs if he keeps this up
  12. Forgot to make the thread haha thanks el rockin
  13. Is Shields pitching Sunday?
  14. Davidson gave that one a ride
  15. Hanson turning into a nice surprise.
  16. Q going today. That ERA over 5, would be nice to get it lower today. Hopefully the offense keeps it up through this series. Would be nice to take at least 2 out of 3. Blue Jays starter has an 3.38 ERA, but a 1-5 record. Sounds like he has had a Quintana-esque start to the season. Go Sox!!
  17. 23 pitches already only 1 out. Geesh
  18. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 15, 2017 -> 05:36 PM) Nope. That's good I guess. I think if the closer blows the lead in the 9th and the team wins it in the tenth, the closer shouldn't get the win, the pitcher before him should. Just my 2 cents on that.
  19. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 15, 2017 -> 05:30 PM) Robertson to work the 9th, his first outing since Saturday. He's trying to get himself a save haha...does it work like that? If the closer comes in on a non-save situation, pitches himself into a save situation and still closed out the game, does he get the save?
  20. Nice ab by Anderson there. 2nd time he's gotten himself to a 3 ball count. This one resulting in a double.
  21. Tommy fricken Kahnle everybody
  22. Thing with Davidson is, and I've said this before, when he's hot, he can carry the team and be the most exciting player in the lineup. When he's cold, he can the most frustrating. This season is definitely a test for him, and I think if he has one or two more hot streaks during the season after he cools down a bit this time, I think he has solidified himself as next year's 3B/DH.
  23. Leury almost came back with a bang right there
  24. The pitcher they have going is 1-4 with an ERA over 8. Let's keep these bats hot before heading to Canada. Games are so much more fun to watch when the Sox actually score, even if the pitching falters. I think I heard Stoney yesterday say the Sox have the best batting average in the league since May 16. That's pretty darn good for a rebuilding team.
