REALLY starting to feel like a rebuilding team now. Not only does the pitching absolutely reek, but the Sox aren't hitting pitchers who they should. You just get that feeling when they get a golden offensive opportunity that they aren't going to do anything...just like that inning there. I just hope they start to heat it up when I see my first game of the year against Texas next Saturday.

Would be nice if Sheilds gave us a surprise and went 7 innings today to give that pen a rest...but he's got to keep those pitch counts down.

I just feel like Rodon is going to be a complete disaster when he comes back up... I don't care if he is just trying to throw a lot of pitches...when you give up 7 earned runs over 4 and a third in AAA, you don't have any business in a MLB rotation. He's gonna be hard to watch, mostly in my opinion because of his inability to control his pitches

Okay, I know there is already a Q thread out there somewhere, but this one is fresh and up to date. So, let's say Q restores his value and has a couple more outstanding starts. Considering the moves the Sox have made, with a future 3B/DH in Davidson/Burger, SS in Anderson, 2B in Moncada, 1B in Abreu (He isn't going anywhere), Catcher in Collins and loads of pitching prospects, their infield is pretty well set for the future. You could even throw Yolmer and Leury in there. You got Robert in Center and Avi in right, plus if you want to put Engel as a starting outfielder you could, too early to tell with him. Don't know what we have with Tilson either. With all that said, who are YOU trading for in Q? You can never have enough pitching in my opinion, so I say another pitcher and an outfielder who can hit, at least, maybe a catcher as well.

Sox probably gonna be free swingers in the 8th. They wanna get on that plane and head home!!

Wheres the Tim Anderson hate club? He has had a great game offensively and not bad defense. All comes with time some experience.

Dude is gonna hit 40 by season's end, and he doesn't have a bad average either. Highest slugging percentage on the team, him and Avi have been the nicest surprises this season thus far.

Might be a position player pitching kind of night for Minnesota if Sox keep this offense up and Q keeps the runs to a minimum.

Nice to see the Sox come back and do this after 2 rough games. This starter reminds me of Holmberg last night...a lot of get me over pitches because can't locate for crap...our hitters seem to hit bad pitchers well, which is nice.

Per the Doppler Radar, that rain ain't ending in Minny any time soon.

Holmberg is gonna give up 7 runs before he exits with the way he is pitching. Bullpen labored yesterday, so he ain't coming out any time before the 5th IMO. Need some good old fashioned luck here, and some help from the homepage ump at the plate.

No. Don't trade him. He's a core part of this rebuild. He can be the teams star player in 2 years if he really did figure it out. And if he did, not likely any prospect will match what he is doing.

Davidson is gonna finish with over 40 bombs if he keeps this up
