Nope. I believe the Sox, Giants, and A’s are the only teams in this category.
One of those teams is us. Another one smacked us around. Not good Joe.

There is no reason to rebuild. Absolutely bring up Colome and whoever else you can find in AAA and push for this year.
Like pushing a car with a plunger. Still only getting s%*#.

Again, this is crazy talk. Eloy was one of the better hits in baseball 2nd half last year. He’s in a funk, but DFA is so far from the equation.
Consistency is what makes a player good. Eloy is not good because he can only perform in short spurts at this point. He's gotta stay healthy and drive the ball.

There's the white sox we all know and...uh...despise.
I'm gonna need to find out how many teams haven't won a series this year. And how many of those teams are in a fake contention window.

With this quote from Grifol, I prefer to live in a world where Grifol also agrees that Hahn should be fired.
Wow, he fits right on in lol.

Hahn recently said that he knew the "Sox haven't proved anything."
Actually they have...they proved that with an incompetent, dysfunctional and inept front office you can completely flush a rebuild and a "window of contention" right down the toilet.
I'm shocked. I must have missed that quote with all of his fan blaming again. My favorite was it's the fans/media's fault the trade for Joc fell through.

The first eligible team would claim him in an instant and laugh at the Sox every day while Eloy mashed for them.
Eloy has a ton of potential but he has been here since the 2019 season. He is well behind projection and doesn't look like a consistent power guy. He can't stay healthy or consistently hit home runs.

He stinks, but this roster is awful right now.
Yeah that is true. But I don't see the fundamentals in these guys or smart managerial decisions from him too often. At this point I can't say he is an upgrade over TLR.

Pedro not 1% impressive as manager, KC leftover not ready for prime time. Another lip service guy in organization.
Yeah Grifol hasn't impressed me at all. He definitely looks like the last resort he was.

I would trade Eloy the minute he puts together a solid healthy stretch for cost controlled SPs with upside, probably not going to get much in return but at least stock up on some healthy arms. Just DH Sheets against RHP and work in right handers at DH vs LHP.
Yeah because other GMs are gonna be fooled this easily.

The other big problem with this roster is it needs some changing, but Hahn can't trade anybody. Remember, he tried adding at the deadline, but couldn't, and he was supposedly more disappointed than us. Then said trades were going to be the big thing during the offseason. When he couldn't do anything at the Winter Meetings, he gave us the old, coming weeks and months line, even saying trades could occur during spring training. Nothing. No one will give them any value for their players. It is what is always is with this regime. Hope for a miracle
I doubt there is an executive in professional sports that deserves to lose his job based on performance more than Hahn. He makes Gar Forman and Phil Emery look at least average..
Hahn was just passing time. No one is trading anything of value for Eloy or Yoan. We aren't trading Tim, Robert, and Vaughn. The only reasonable trade piece is Gio who needs a new deal. Hahn is terrible at his job and blew his money on all of the bullpen arms syatting with Kelvin Herrera. He's a moron.

When will we win a series this year?

There is some truth to what you've said but that should also be tempered with Rick Hahn's track record in acquiring talent (the latest being Diekman) which far more often than not has been a real failure.
Plus even if they are in a race in a weak division will JR take the plunge financially? They certainly didn't over the off-season when competition for talent isn't as intense or critical.
Hahn traded a bad top 5 pick for the Dallas Keuchel of closers. His track record is pretty awful even when you include Cease and Robert.

Perspectives from someone who did not watch the Easter game
Surprised by the score
Pleased that Kopech pitched well
Getting a little nervous because I do not remember one White Sox team that started the year poorly and then went on to do a damned thing the rest of the season
How many Sox teams have actually done a damn thing at all in the last 100 years?

So let’s get into this now, since so many people seem to want to be OUT on this team in the first week.
What is the number of wins the Sox have to have by the all star break to make you believe and be IN on this team?
First week? We've been mediocre at best since ASB 2021. We were also mediocre second half of 2020 as well. This is who this team has proven to be. Singles and hits that don't drive in many runs. No power. No bullpen. Leaky starting pitching. And of course, hurt Eloy. I'll enjoy the season for the most part because it is baseball, but it is clear this team is not a contender.

I think this situation is a disaster right now. Not in terms of talent, but in terms of excitement, expectations, and fun. We were supposed to be the Astros and Phillies but we really are a lesser version of Seattle. There is no excitement around this team and no one mentions their name for anything.
This is the season that will determine the ultimate fate of this rebuild and organization. I am going to support them 100 percent until they show me they don't deserve it. I can understand why Sox nation has forgotten baseball starts this week but I agree, let's give these guys one last chance. Support them and give them a chance, until they show us otherwise. There will be plenty of time of be angry and blast the organization if this season falls apart.

1 position player and 1 pitcher ranked in the top 90 players. Ouch for a team that was supposed to be dominant this season. I don't want to go back and look at Espn's 20's preview they did before 2020.

What does that mean? Seriously asking.
I mean some people pass out because of the awkward pain and inability to breathe. Moncada could have just needed a moment to adjust to the quick change in breathing and pain.

I broke several ribs in getting hit from behind by a semi. Also tore my PCL and messed the back up. It was very painful to breathe but I certainly didn't fall out.

This team is owned by JR and ran by his loyalists. That means there is a 90 percent chance if major disappointment.

This doesn't mean he is innocent. It is next to impossible to prove abuse without calling the cops to the scene immediately. Something likely happened here even if more evidence isn't available. The MLB is having him be evaluated for potential abusive behavior and drug usage.

What court are you referring to? I thought there were no criminal charges filed and there is only a pending MLB investigation. Is that wrong? Is there a civil case filed? Are you referring to custody hearings?
I'm speaking a what if. This could even go to civil/family court.
