  1. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 20, 2013 -> 11:49 PM) Wade is one HGH revelation away from being a reliable player in the playoffs again. Wouldn't be surprised if he takes a trip to Germany to see Kobe's doctor this offseason.
  2. QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ Jun 20, 2013 -> 11:02 PM) So, if the Spurs want it, they can get up to about $20 million in cap space. Paul Millsap and a PG off the bench, or flush it down the toilet on Splitter and a farewell gift for Manu? That is really interesting. They can retool this roster and be a title contender again next year if they spend it right.
  3. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 20, 2013 -> 11:00 PM) He benched Parker and Duncan to start the fourth quarter. The same exact decision that already cost them a championship in game 6. Benching Duncan and Parker together at all is laughably dumb. Then he inexplicably takes Parker out on the last meaningful possession while drawing up a give and go for Ginobli. Just terrible. Ginobili and Leonard missing free throws cost them a championship in game 6 and Duncan was out for about 30 seconds in the 4th quarter tonight.
  4. QUOTE (daa84 @ Jun 20, 2013 -> 10:52 PM) Completely disagree with the Pop criticism tonight. Game 6? Yes. Tonight I'm not sure what else he could have done. Players gotta play Agreed. This game came down to LeBron making jump shots and putting in an incredible performance while Green, Parker and Ginobili all struggled.
  5. Unreal performance by LeBron tonight.
  6. Spurs were lucky to even get that look because Green clearly traveled after he stopped his dribble there.
  7. QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ Jun 20, 2013 -> 10:33 PM) The Heat just can't stand prosperity, keep giving up 3-point plays when they get up 5 or 6. That was as weak of a call as you will ever see though, especially in a game 7.
  8. Heat's role players are killing them tonight outside of Battier. Turning the ball over a bunch and missing open shots.
  9. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 20, 2013 -> 04:22 PM) after the uproar that will be had when we sell off, a couple of free agents aren't making a difference. I don't think there will be any uproar when we sell off considering we will likely be about 15-20 games out of first place and are heading towards a 100 loss season.
  10. QUOTE (oldsox @ Jun 20, 2013 -> 02:08 PM) Is Oregon State's Danny Hayes likely to sign after he finishes the CWS? He doesn't have any eligibility left so it would be shocking if he doesn't sign.
  11. QUOTE (kev211 @ Jun 18, 2013 -> 11:38 PM) Thank god I'm not a spurs fan as that game would haunt me for awhile Only if they lose game 7. But can you imagine being on that team, being so close to a title and blowing it? That team might not get another chance at a title. I feel bad for Duncan because he was an absolute monster tonight and his teammates choked away title #5.
  12. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jun 18, 2013 -> 11:20 PM) Ya the calls at the end of the game don't bother me at all. Parker being on the bench does. The refs weren't good but they were fair. There were different stretches where each team got calls tonight and there is no way I give Ginobili that call when he takes like 5 steps and was completely out of control when the contact wasn't egregious.
  13. QUOTE (zenryan @ Jun 18, 2013 -> 11:16 PM) I'm ok with the Bosh no-foul call. But that was a hack job on Manu. Ginobili picked up the ball beyond the three point line and ran into traffic out of control like a running back, you aren't going to get that call very often with 10 seconds left in a basketball game.
  14. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 18, 2013 -> 11:12 PM) That was a lousy no call on the Ginobili drive. Allen was draped across his right arm. I think Manu traveled before there was contact and you just aren't going to get that call in that situation when you drive out of control into traffic like that.
  15. Awful play by Manu. Some contact but Manu took about 9 steps there.
  16. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 18, 2013 -> 10:51 PM) Wow Popovich has been just terrible I think both coaches made huge mistakes down the stretch. Spoelstra bringing in Wade was a mistake and not having Duncan in was really foolish.
  17. Terrible last couple possessions by LeBron. The guy who really should be the scapegoat tonight is Spoelstra though. Awful decision to bring Wade back, completely changed the game.
  18. No shots for LeBron since Wade came back in the game and on that last play it was much easier for the Spurs to help on LeBron's drive with Wade in over Miller.
  19. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 18, 2013 -> 10:38 PM) It's a miracle this game is close. Pops, Green, Ginobli, and Parker have all been just awful meanwhile LeBron is going off and the role players are playing very well. Duncan played like 27 year old Tim Duncan rather than 37 year old Tim Duncan for about 3 quarters tonight and LeBron really struggled for 3 quarters. Not really shocking the game is close especially with Wade and Bosh struggling.
  20. Lol at Spoelstra. LeBron is completely dominating and you run a play for Wade out of a timeout. Awful just awful.
  21. Lol at that flop by Parker.
  22. I honestly don't know if I would have brought back Wade. This has to be LeBron's show the rest of the way and I like the spacing with Miller, Allen and Chalmers out there.
  23. Duncan definitely got fouled by Bosh there.
  24. LeBron has gone god mode. Wow.
  25. QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ Jun 18, 2013 -> 10:16 PM) And I bet you he gets $10 million a year this off-season from someone. It wouldn't be the first time and won't be the last time that a mediocre at best big man gets a ridiculous contract.
