I'd vote for CW. While we disagree that the Democrats can save us [he thinks they can, I doubt they can...since the vast majority of them fail to show up to work and be an opposition party], but we do have a lot of common ground. Although, his first act as President would have to be the trial of Karl Rove. Then he'd have my vote GUARANTEED.

I have been watching this go from small story to fevered f***ing debate over this. I wonder what Christian groups would say if the monument was the Pillars of Islam or another religion's beliefs. I have been watching it today on TV and there is a guy who keeps yelling "PUT IT BACK! DON'T PUT YOUR HANDS ON GOD, YOU GOD HATERS!" and I keep laughing because it's exactly what the organizers said they didn't want people to do. Anyway, what's peoples' stance on this event? I personally think that it preferences one religion by having them and the Chief Justice was an idiot for not moving them when ordered to.

Is this Billy Koch II: Electric Boogaloo? I want Billy to succeed but this year, every time he went out, it's like cardiac arrest watching him get 3 outs. He needed to rehab a lot earlier when the troubling signs first started...not now. Who knows what this season would have looked like if he rehabed earlier and possibly found that fastball again. Koch's arm is sore and a short trip to the DL isn't going to change that. It'd be great if he'd find that extra few MPH on that fastball and start pitching lights out, but right now he's pitching beach balls. I concur that calling them Billy Botch etc. isn't a great idea, but people can tend to get very emotional when a player who was lights out now comes out and pitches 10 MPH less and causes us to lose games [i.e. Crawford's bomb in TB, etc.] I'm all for Koch, but I want to see the lights out Koch. I don't have to accept the actions deemed as "Billy Botch" because we all know his potential. And people have a right to voice their disapproval of "Billy Botch"-ish actions but they should still remember that he is a part of the team and can be very powerful in our success or failure this season. Here's for pulling for Billy to get 98-99.

Fat, lazy Americans...they hit that one on the head. On average, 1 out of 10 SUV's go off-road. I have the sources, but they are on the computer downstairs [it's packed up since I'm moving to college tomorrow]. SUV's have a very high center of gravity and, as said before, they roll over during emergency turns...they even make fun of that fact in the episode of the Simpsons with the Canyonero. The end, when she makes it roll over to get the rhinos away from Homer and says that they have a very high roll over rate. I have my brother's Thunderbird at the current time but in another year or so I think I'm gonna trade it in and get a new car. Just gotta find a decent one.

Anybody who says high school is the best 4 years of life is insane. A few nights ago on Comedy Central, a comedian put my thoughts on high school into the perfect perspective. "My counselor always said that high school was the best time of my life. Yeah, clumsy hormone raging kids running around from class to class, sounds great! So, I graduated and then was driving a few years later in Colorado getting head from my girlfriend in the car. I thought, hey this is better than high school, right? This is much better then high school. I wanted to call my counselor and tell him he was a liar. Then the car in front of us stopped short and my girlfriend got surprised and bit down on my dick...but even that was still better than high school." High school to college isn't that much of a bigger step. I went from a 1200 person high school to over 35000 in college. It's very easy once you meet a couple people [read as: get involved in something you are interested in and meet likeminded people] and get your bearings about doing laundry, etc. It's a helluva lot of fun. Damnit, I can't wait for move in day Sunday.

Gothic lifestyle is something they like. Even gothics don't have a clear cut definition for their lifestyle. Try google and look up the stuff. Actual goths can explain much better than I.
