If we go to war we are in breach of the Kellogg-Brand Pact, UN Resolution of 1990 (assuming we go into Baghdad for regime change), violation of the Nuremburg Tribunal verdicts, etc. That is quite illegal.

Wait wait wait....you're talking about shooting me with a handgun and I'm supposedly the one with the hatred? I never said that they should not have rights to speak. I said that the people should be educated enough not to fall for their racist sexist bulls***.

Good old American fascism at it's best. Who needs facts when you have baseless propaganda, eh HSC? So, what would you have said to Eugene V. Debs and Socialist reformers who helped to get the 8 hr. work day? Tell them that if they didn't like the horrible work to leave the country? How can you be such an incredible nationalistic fascist? I guess HSC forgot to read the Constitution where I get to petition the government, peacefully assemble, et al. I never said America was wrong about everything....just a lot of things. Don't put words in my mouth. Don't worry, I've already thought about Canada or Sweden as substitutes for moving in the future. At least they get national health care and have gun control laws unlike the states. And "long live the Klan"? Are you seriously a racist fascist HSC or did I take that out of context?

http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=stor...o/freedom_fries We are worrying about a War on Terror, a s***ty economy, Osama bin Laden, a possible war in Iraq....and they take their day to worry about semantics for food? Give me a motherf***ing break.

My personal opinion...to be a pundit on TV these days it seems you have to have your head up your ass and say incredibly controversial things. (see Bill O'Reilly, Pat Buchanan, Pat Robertson, Rush Limbaugh, Neil Boortz, et al...I'd say some leftist pundits but there aren't any really on TV/radio that I can think of off the top of my head)

It's all over the British media. Check out the BBC, the Guardian, et al. All their major newspapers have covered the story. But our media is "Support the President or we're helping the terrorists" mentality so they won't say jack and s*** that is bad about the President. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/2736575.stm http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/2736149.stm http://truthout.org/docs_02/020803A.htm The British intelligence report can be read here: http://www.number-10.gov.uk/output/Page7111.asp The essay by Ibrahim al-Marashi can be read here. http://meria.idc.ac.il/journal/2002/issue3...e3/jv6n3a1.html "According to the story from Channel 4 News (a British news station), which was later augmented by an Associated Press report by Jill Lawless, the duplicate text was first spotted by a Cambridge, England academic named Glen Ranwala. Apparently, Ranwala read the British dossier when it became available and believed he had seen it before. As it turns out, he was correct. Entire sections of the al-Marashi essay, including six full paragraphs in one section, had been cut and pasted into the British dossier, including several spelling and grammatical errors that are identical. According to the Associated Press, al-Marashi had no idea his paper was being used by the British. "It was a shock to me," he told the Associated Press, and expressed the hope that the British would credit his work "out of academic decency."" There you go. How's that for some mainstream sources. Just like the "Give me a standing ovation or I won't come, the American media would rather worry about Harry Potter books, LeBron James and his jerseys than giving us real important news like this. Can you imagine of these stories cracked in the US how much the pro-war movement would decrease and the same with the pro-Bush sentiment.

Dissent is democratic. It is a key part of the Constitution. If I wanted, I could go drop trousers and take a massive dump on the American flag. It's freedom of speech and I don't appreciate the curtailment of my civil liberties by Ashcroft and his neo-Cold War Keystone Kops. I am offering help. I'm working to impeach the wannabe war criminal, AWOL from the army solider, crown prince of the oil barons, got thru Yale and Harvard with a C average cuz his daddy went there, man who can unapologetically send troops off to die while running away when he was going to serve son of a b**** that is George W. Chickenhawk...excuse me, George W. Bush. I am not anti-America. I see America as a great but misguided nation. I envision a f*** of a lot better for this country then the corporate feudalism that we have now. I envision a lot better country where our CIA doesn't overthrow governments and get in bed with dictators. I envision an America where we aren't waging war with countries for the "possibility" of having certain weapons. I envision an America where people are guaranteed health care (like every other industrialized nation). I envision an America that will sign onto CEDAW (UN declaration saying that countries will work to improve womens' rights and curb the discrimination of women....only Iran, Afghanistan, and the US have yet to ratify this) I envision an America where people will be able to stand and laugh at the KKK instead of buying into their racist and sexist bulls*** propaganda. f***, I envision an American government that doesn't have to lie to us and a government that isn't a bunch of corporate whores getting money to turn tricks for Monsanto et al. I have just had enough of seeing America become so entirely s***ty when it should be a great nation.

Blair admitted to helping Powell lie to the UN (plagiarized info from 1992 in his dossier about Iraq) A lying politician would fit right in here in the US of A.
-
wtf is with the convicted cop killer on your aviator???????????? Cuz he's innocent.
-
I voted yes because if Lott stepped down from his post, then this assclown can do the same. What the f*** is with people saying that there is the worldwide Jewish conspiracy? I never see it.

True, and ex-humanitarian aid directors of the UN have deemed that consistant bombing "genocide". really..does that mean they will come and arrest bill clinton and bring him up on war crimes charges Actually William Blum has been advocating war crimes charges for Bush Sr., Colin Powell, Madeline Albright, Clinton, and Dubya and his cohorts as well for these crimes. But, Powell and the U.S. have told the World Court that if we charge any of them and have trials there, they will invade to remove the party on trial.

Who needs proof when you have overzealous commentary, eh SI? I think it is pretty big when the DA can't even tie him to the murder weapon. That's a pretty big thing pointing to his innocence. But who needs to debate that, right SI?
-
Who would think that France is actually saving OUR ass for once! Not letting Georgie boy go off to fight an illegal war.
-
I watch a lot of MSNBC, CNN, and FOXNEWS and I didn't see that story air one time in the hours upon hours I watched.
-
And tell me CK, how can so many organizations and so many groups believe he didn't get a fair trial and that he is innocent if he is so guilty? You just don't want to admit that this country's justice system is impaired and racist and should most definitely not be giving out the death penalty. (Even if it was my relative, I'd want the guy to rot in prison for the rest of his life) Why couldn't the prosecution tie him to the murder weapon? Why was it that the public defender he got was so incredibly s***ty? You don't think that this sort of thing is incredibly shady? The man got shafted and is going to die by the hand of the State (pretty paradoxical I think of the State to say "You can't kill....but we can")
-
I personally think he is innocent, but I at least think a person should get a fair trial. The policeman was killed with a 44 caliber gun. Abu-Jamal's gun which he was licensed to carry as a night-time taxi driver, was a 38 caliber. The police never tested Abu-Jamal's gun to see if it had been recently fired. They never tested his hands to see if he had fired a gun. They have never shown Abu-Jamal 's gun to be the fatal weapon. No police officers present at Abu-Jamal's arrest claimed to have heard Jamal's "confession" until two months after it allegedly occurred. This was right after Abu-Jamal had filed police brutality charges. Abu-Jamal's doctor said that Abu-Jamal, who was unconscious, said nothing. He reported that a nurse found police with loaded guns pointed at Mumia. William Singletary, a Vietnam veteran and local businessman, saw the whole incident and has testified that Abu-Jamal was not the shooter. However, the police forced him to change his story and intimidated him into leaving Philadelphia. Other key witnesses, such as Veronica Jones -- who now testifies in support of Abu-Jamal, were harassed into giving false testimony. Two prosecution witnesses were given special favors, including exemption from criminal prosecution, for their testimony. The prosecutor removed 11 qualified African Americans from the jury. He also argued for the death penalty because of Mumia's membership in the Black Panther Party, a practice later condemned as unconstitutional by the US Supreme Court. How can you look at that and say he got a fair trial? Did you also know that a member of the mob already in prison for another crime has admitted to the killing of Faulkner and said that it was a mob hit? He gave details that only the killer would know. So, there goes that whole Mumia being guilty thing. And as for defending punks that take life, aren't you supporting the Bush regime in killing Iraqi civilians in a possible war in Iraq? Thought so.

I just like bashing the American media whenever I can because they usually do a very s***ty job of covering the real stories. I became more than fed up with it when, after the DC sniper was apprehended...MSNBC decided to do a media special asking the question "Was our coverage of the sniper case over the top?" So they were covering the coverage of the sniper case. Meanwhile a 6 year old girl in Flint Michigan was shot to death in school and that didn't make the news.....obviously because she wasn't killed by the sniper.
-
I heard about that yesterday from British broadcasting. But Channel 9 really gets the scoops, haha. They are smart. They don't wanna die but how much you wanna bet that there won't be too many prisoners taken. Cuz there was a massacre during GW I where the trojectories of the bullet wounds in the Iraqis showed that they had their backs to the U.S. troops and were running away when they were shot after they had given up to go back to Iraq.
-
It's Mumia Abu-Jamal. The guy wrongly accused of the murder of a police officer in 1982. The trial had a lot of problems. His lawyer didn't cross examine witnesses, they wouldn't let Mumia become his own defense attorney, and they used his membership in MOVE and the Black Panthers as reasons to give him the death penalty. So currently, he is residing in Pennsylvania death row writing books like "Live From Death Row" and he even had a radio segment (I have the CD 'All Things Censored'). There is a really big movement showing how s***ty his trial was and how, if not acquitted from the crime he didn't commit...at least get a new, much more fair trial.

I said President Select not Elect...Bush didn't win the election like Clinton did. And I hate Clinton for passing NAFTA. I hate Clinton for getting us involved with GATT. Clinton did so much worse than get a blow job.
-
AWOL = Absent Without Leave Dubya needs a bunch of dittoheads because he can't hold his own in debates and when people are critical of him. That's why the administration plants pro-Bush fans in the crowds. Impeach Bush now! Worst President Select ever.

They are such goddamn whackjobs, I thought Mel and his dad did a good job of making asses out of themselves...I didn't feel the need to clarify the point.
