  1. Tag Body Spray for Sick Cats. -- http://media.putfile.com/Tag-Body-Spray-fo...Cats-Family-Guy There is no FCC/standards and practices censor that could ever realize how intentionally hilariously filthy that bit was. (If anybody needs it explained, I'd be more than willing...but I hope the gag was obvious)
  2. QUOTE(EvilMonkey @ Nov 20, 2005 -> 06:24 PM) Hey they they gotta pay for their own stamps...er wait. And in ref. to Murtha getting slimed: Several Republicans who were on the House floor said afterward that Ms. Schmidt did not appear to know she was referring to a much-decorated veteran. "The poor lady didn't know Jack Murtha was a Marine - she really just ran into a hornet's nest," said Representative Jack Kingston of Georgia. Representative David Dreier of California said, "Very clearly, she did not know that Jack Murtha was a Marine." Shorter description: "What she lacks in tact, she makes up for in being a complete moron." I'm sure the two of us can agree that what she did was f***ing moronic.
  3. QUOTE(3E8 @ Nov 19, 2005 -> 08:26 PM) Foxx did win an Academy Award for best actor in 'Ray'... He very well might have. I've just had a rough day -- stupid b**** can't figure out red lights = stop so I got rearended so hard that my car isn't driveable (she hit my car so hard, it hit another car in front of me from the sheer force) I might not be able to get a rental since I'm under 25 and if I can't get a rental, that means I have to quit my job (because my job is driving around for a paper) Not to mention that thanks to Thanksgiving and the extent of the damages that will take an assload of time to fix (bent in chassis, rear fender f***ing gone from the car, trunk is really f***ed up, front end damage as well), I may get my car back in a month depending on when the adjuster can approve the fixing. No car = walking in the winter for a couple miles to get groceries etc. So it has been a glorious day of dealing with police, insurance companies, dumbass b****es that should be euthanized and being sore as everloving Hell and having to visit the doctor to make sure there was no internal damage (And I might have to go for a CT Scan as well tomorrow) To say I'm pissed off is to say that Stalin's regime might have purged a couple people.
  4. QUOTE(sox4lifeinPA @ Nov 19, 2005 -> 06:47 PM) It was the best film so far, I just hope the barrage of bio-pics up for oscars last year don't hurt Joaquin's chances. He really was great. I think the fact that Foxx didn't get it last year will hurt his chances. I just don't see the Academy giving a white guy an Oscar for doing the same sort of role that a black guy didn't win for last year.
  5. Saw this movie last night while splitting a pint of smuggled in rum. Absolutely fantastic. *** 1/2 stars.
  6. And you know, as bad as it is/was that he did -- he's got the balls to own up to making a mistake & taking personal responsibility for it unlike certain Presidents/administrations we have now. /snark //drunk And MrEye, why would you expect to find this in the American media? All the American media is not necessarily liberal/conservative -- but they're just f***ing lazy. We get more stories about Katie "I've been indoctrinated into a religion that believes a giant alien named Xenu created the universe" Holmes and Tom Cruise trying to kill Oprah and jump on her couch than we do of things that actually have consequence like items on foreign policy/foreign affairs.
  7. Nuke when they act like this: http://www.youtube.com/?v=0NKpokNQTVU , then they are begging for somebody to crack a joke. (Funnier still for all her "Christian" posturing about not wanting the darksided money, she took it later on)
  8. ESPN picked up the story and some insensitive cock on their broadcast made some really s***ty statements (see other thread). And I think him constantly getting hurt/injured and then rehabbing to put a ton of muscle on probably f***ed with his heart a bit too.
  9. http://dl12.rapidshare.de/files/7650378/22...ie_Guerrero.mp3 Audio can be heard there. This guy is an ass who said that he didn't know a damn thing about the man and then went ahead with a bunch of claims. He accused Eddie and other wrestlers of steroid use. Cowherd said, "who cares that he died" and that Guerrero's death was not "newsworthy." He also started speculation on the "unknown causes" of his death. What a f***ing dick. ESPN had to take down their customer service line because they got flooded with calls about this asshole. And for those that don't know, Eddie Guerrero was found dead earlier this week from apparent heart attack/heart failure but they aren't certain. He was 38.
  10. Reports are saying that he had breakfast this morning, went back to his hotel room & then wasn't around when people were looking for him so they went to his hotel and found him.
  11. Check out the front page of WWE.com. Seems "Latino Heat" was found dead this morning in his hotel room.
  12. Okay, gang. I woke up this morning and in my AIM profiles is a message "Use Less Right Clicks, use the Away Page!" and a link to http://buddyinfo.aim.com/away When I go to edit my profile, I can't remove the damn thing because it doesn't appear. Any ideas on how to get rid of this damned thing?
  13. Mine was pretty good. Friday after work I came home, had a few beers with my roommate at the pub and then had to get to sleep for work. Saturday was work (6-10 am), writing a piece that might get published in some book and lounging at the coffeehouse. Today was lots of errands, cleaning and another day of work (6-10 am).
  14. Critic, I hear you about the cell phone thing. A friend of mine called me recently and was nearly wetting his pants laughing after hearing this girl's cell conversation while in line at a store. It went something like this: Girl: "Mom, why do you f***ing do this? You always do something nice or say something nice and then follow it up with a huge let down and insult. It isn't cool, mother and I am getting f***ing sick of it. It is like you make a giant chocolate cake and then frost it in diarrhea!" And SnB: How can you forget "Get the Picture", "Nick Arcade", "Guts" and "Legends of the Hidden Temple"?
  15. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/conte...5110501366.html "The FBI now issues more than 30,000 national security letters a year, according to government sources, a hundredfold increase over historic norms. The letters -- one of which can be used to sweep up the records of many people -- are extending the bureau's reach as never before into the telephone calls, correspondence and financial lives of ordinary Americans. " Then they give gag orders to stop the recipients from saying anything about it. The records it gathers describe where a person makes and spends money, with whom he lives and lived before, how much he gambles, what he buys online, what he pawns and borrows, where he travels, how he invests, what he searches for and reads on the Web, and who telephones or e-mails him at home and at work. And who can forget the real kick in the balls -- NO JUDICIAL OVERSIGHT. Two years ago, Ashcroft rescinded a 1995 guideline directing that information obtained through a national security letter about a U.S. citizen or resident "shall be destroyed by the FBI and not further disseminated" if it proves "not relevant to the purposes for which it was collected." Ashcroft's new order was that "the FBI shall retain" all records it collects and "may disseminate" them freely among federal agencies. Man, the days of individual liberty and lives free of government intrusion without due cause for them to look at an individual's life seem to be gone...and we're all marching lockstep offering to give up our rights. And for those in the "What Me Worry? Government hasn't abused its authority to go after the bad guys before!" crowd -- Government has never abused its authority before!...Except for the Palmer Raids, McCarthyism, the Red Scare and COINTELPRO, you’d be right. (and right now they are as well...f***ing thugs)
  16. Congrats SS2k! /waits for Lil SS2k to start posting more than her dad on Soxtalk
  17. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Nov 4, 2005 -> 03:40 PM) I want to see it. Is there a book that it's based on at all? I read Black Hawk Down about a year before it came out. Do yourself a favor and read the book. Fun "Black Hawk Down" aside. One of the soldiers that was actually involved is actually in military jail for being a child molester. When they made the movie, they changed the name of the soldier so as to not acknowledge this little black eye.
  18. Both parties are corrupt as s*** -- the Republicans just much more brazenly. Until we get more Congressmen like Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich, the late Paul Wellstone etc. that aren't whores for corporate donations we're stuck with a system of candidates that will be enacting policies that are the systematic destruction of everything this country claims to stand for, except the right of the rich to put saddles on the backs of the poor and use public funds to build jails for anybody who complains about it.
  19. Red Rover, Red Rover, I call TO('s career in Philly) Over /obligatory? He's the kind of guy you love to hate -- but unlike so many of the trash talking slapnutz there are, he's able to back it up on the field with fantastic play.
  20. As previously posted, the major labels colluded to artificially inflfate prices to make themselves more money -- and with little money actually going to the artist themselves. That, my friends is bulls*** and illegal. For example, Pink Floyd's "The Wall" is still expensive as when my brother got it for Christmas years ago. Have the record companies not recooped their money from PF? Major labels are f***ing artists in the ass. While these labels discuss how the artists are being screwed by P2P file sharing, I'd contend that the much bigger screw job comes from the major labels that take most of the money for every album sold. http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/local/179304_cdupdate24.html -- Sad story about the record industry whining about the anti-trust lawsuit against them. From Fark.com: The RIAA is paying their own fines by dumping s***loads of unsold and overstocked/overprinted CDs from their inventory and calling it a "payout." Ahem. "We told you so." This is unwanted garbage. And the RIAA has the nerve to charge FULL RETAIL for each one of these CDs that goes towards their payoff, despite the fact that these CDs cost them absolutely nothing and have just been collecting dust in the first place. The fact they sent old Promo CDs is even more amusing. -- The RIAA gets off with a slap on the wrist for being a monopoly & even then they cut corners when they actually have to pay what minimal punishment they got.
  21. Somehow, I didn't think it was possible to hate this primadonna, a-talented hosebag any more than I already did but this video made me hate her more.
  22. QUOTE(kapkomet @ Nov 3, 2005 -> 08:35 PM) Seriously, that's bull s***. I think he's just having fun pissing off the radical right (cuz scarily there are some radical righties at my school who have espoused the same thing..."Tough s***. People die in war." and also that it would just be federal government bloat to assist in paying off Katrina -- let the private sector do it.")
  23. UIUC: Good education especially for engineering. I'm a huge fan of the Cinema Studies and History departments. Campus is very large which is nice but when you get settled in with your major, you end up seeing the same people a bazillion times. Huge Greek system so trying to live outside of that can be a pain at times. Lots of campus bars and pretty big parties -- lots of fratty frat drunks on the weekends which can make for hilariousness or annoyance depending on how one feels about that sort of thing. Pretty good sized Christian presence (since I know you care about that sort of stuff) and they get pretty involved with actually doing things on campus like giving out free Pop-Tarts, talking with people etc. Lots of good music comes through, really good community stuff (speakers, etc.) and a lot of good restaurants and things within a few minutes drive.
  24. Fiddy should stick to making mediocre rap songs. And let's say he's right -- wouldn't the hurricane and all it entailed be "flooding" of the area? Cuz if so, it would be something God said he wouldn't purposefully do anymore after the whole Ark deal, rainbow covenant, etc. So, stop the f***ing presses -- PA and I agree for once that it wasn't an act of God.
  25. QUOTE(Texsox @ Nov 1, 2005 -> 09:26 PM) We have the theatrics and drama I'm sensing the roar of the greasepaint and the smell of the crowd All hat and no cattle Stirring up dust When something of substance actually happens, I will be overjoyed. Until then, I'm not impressed. Tex, it is the first time in a long time the Dems have really mounted a fight without folding faster than Superman on laundry day to apologize for it. Alright, who gave Harry Reid the testosterone shot?
