Fulmer is very unimpressive. Definite trade bait this offseason if a team values him as a starter.

No offense, but he's another reason the draft means nothing. I root for wins. Nothing against the young man. I hope he has a good long career, but the draft? Give me a break rooting for losses and getting guys like Beckham and possibly Fulmer.

House bet?

And yet if they had only lost two more games, they would have gotten Benintendi

Yet Cooper gets a free pass from the fan base.

Not from the entire fan base.

15th loss this season when the Sox allowed an opponent three runs or less.

It's telling that it took four plus months for them to notice how the professionalism exemplified by Morneau was sore lacking at the big league level...

Additional stat:

Sox have now scored three runs or less in 54 of 114 games played. 47%.

Doesn't matter who they bring in, doesn't matter what team they come from, a culture of losing has now gripped this organization.

Nothing changes until major changes are made on the baseball side of the front office and in the philosophy of the organization.

He looks like a guy who is glad to be back playing baseball.

I think it also helps getting guys from winning organizations.

Also getting Sox retreads to run everything. Plus filling holes with career NL players hasn't worked.

Agreed. He can go too. Almost every team turns some players careers around.

Hasn't the Sox starting pitching WAR been amongst the best in baseball over the past few years?

One of the trademarks of the Ventura era....

It may be silly of me to blame him but man it sure is the pattern.

This is an excellent point. What philosophical changes would you make?
