Fenwick hung with Mount Carmel and had a chance of beating them. Unfortunately, they lost right at the end. I don't care what happens the rest of the way. Q has the best team in Rice history. Can we complete the deal? Teams that could knock us off in playoffs, the only ones: Mount Carmel, Fenwick, East St. Louis, Loyola. That's it. I have no idea which teams are in our classification. St. Laurence has a good coach, not sure of their record, but we mauled them tonight. Rice hadn't had a 'letdown' type game all season. Even the one loss was close where we messed up some chances. Congrats to the kids. Best team in Rice history (through regular season). Never has Rice had so many college recruits and game breakers. Hope the QB is healthy, the lines are healthy and the RBs and receivers and D backs are ready. They have even broadcast freshman and sophomore games. Mount Carmel’s YouTube channel and presentation is pretty amazing with replays, etc. and they will be streaming the Loyola @ Mount Carmel game tomorrow at 4:30 PM.
