BLACK OUT GAME CXLI

The Sox will attack the next three games with vigor and purpose; upon sweeping this division rival they will even further clinch their second best record under Robin Ventura. All of this is taking place just in time to erase any and all concerns that arose with a recent USA Today article painting the organization as supportive of and committed to his reign. News broke yesterday that they will even throw Sale on Sunday for this very reason.

TRENDING UPWARDS FOREVER SINCE 2013

Damn, it just reminds me of how much fun baseball was for me at that black out game. Probably the best sporting experience I ever personally had being at a game.

A+ Effort in late september!

I look at this as professionals playing like professionals and not just flat out giving up. Sale wants to pitch and I applaud his doing so. Ventura is still the manager regardless of it being the last three games of the season or not. We may have been eliminated but when that happens you don't pack your bags, close and lock the door behind you and run home.

I'd like for rodon to have a great game and see if he can get his ERA under 4.

I just feel like Rodon will have a scherzer like rise where it clicks.

I was in Section 531. That game felt like a World Series game.

I sat right behind the tarp on the 3rd baseline in the front row. It was freaking awesome.

I was in a skybox behind home plate. I got pics of Thome connecting with that moonshot, and Griffey throwing out the runner at home.

I was in the bleachers. I was so excited the entire day and it all culminated through to the end of that game. It was the closest to a WS win as a non WS game could get. LOL

Do we have to talk about Carlos Sanchez and Leury Garcia all offseason?

Let's hope not. Because the odds of them sustaining their recent success in starting roles is about 5-10% at best.

No but I am sure you will be name dropping them rather consistently for years to come. LOL

Probably - because Rick Hahn will probably squander young assets chasing the next proven veteran who looks to be no better than either of those 2.

Rodon with seven straight k's to start the game before a double. Tied an AL record

That AL record was a White Sox record too, set by Joe Cowley while my existence was still confined to a Fallopian tube...

I don't care that this game is meaningless. I hate the Twins and I will rewatch Anderson's mega self-spectating for YEARS.

Timmy crushes one to LF to score Eaton and himself to make it 4-0 .

I have schoolwork to do, but this is the most fun I've had with White Sox baseball in months. Wish more were here.

2nd double in 2 AB for Melky followed by Abreu double for RBI # 99 .

Don't be surprised if Tim is hit with a pitch in his next AB.

That's all for Duffey. Nana Nana hey hey hey etc.

Funny how much better Sox play with no pressure.

Oh, you're a bit behind? Wait for Narvaez...

Pat Dean certainly tried.

Narvaez with his 1st ML dinger !

Quite a night for the Sox. Rodon with 10 strike outs through five innings. 7-0 Sox
